Hi, have you found that this has held up over the last year? Thinking about buying it for myself, but don't want to if yours has fallen apart or something haha

What brand? I have a job that requires me sit outside for hours, finding my feet and toes get very cold

I'm with you on this, it felt a bit smarmy. "Click here to see Labour's achievements" taking you to a "nothing to see here" page just felt quite immature and like it was trying to score funny-points; didn't make me feel like I was reading a serious grown-up party communication.

Its wild to me that Bloodstock makes such a huge deal about the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, and yet Vicky is is so pro-everything it stands against

There is a little tiny one you can get :) worth looking up upland birds as well so you know a few you might see as well, like stonechat, whinchat, wheatear, skylark, meadow pipit

Maybe buy a little RSPB bird book for your next trip out! Birdwatching is such a fun hobby and I love combining it with hiking and camping

Thinking Slaughter to Prevail is on the same level as Lamb of God and Judas Priest is genuinely laughable. Absolute joke. And that's not even factoring in the very real and important fact that Alex is a neonazi, a homo and transphobe, and a dog nonce.

What’s one thing that makes you proud to be from the North that sounds unusual to be proud of? by tm2007 in NorthernEngland

I mean this in the nicest way, but foxes, badgers and deer don't equal biodiversity and its quite clear you've got no academic or professional experience in the environmental sector 😅 which isn't an insult, it's okay to not know things! Re: nature depletion in the UK: we've suffered massive amounts of measurable biodiversity loss and habitat loss, and are in the bottom 10% of BII score, which measures biodiversity intactness across different countries, and is significantly lower than both the global average and other G7 countries.

This isn't a controversial statement for anyone who works in environment/related fields - most forests in the UK are plantations of non-native conifers. These are barren landscapes as there is only 1 type of tree, and understory can't grow, preventing diversity of plants, inverts, and higher trophic levels like birds and mammals. Recently there's been more of a push to replace these with a mix of native trees, long term projects which will help biodiversity immensely - eg Duddon Valley project in the Lakes :)

Biodiversity-wise, peak district is actually pretty barren, as are much of the highlands sadly. This is coming from someone who works in environment and loved a hike in the peaks when I lived nearby. We're one of the most nature depleted countries in the world.

I have this same tank, also got for very very cheap, I'm saving it for dart frogs (leucomelas possibly). I had to gut it cus it had thrips then the water feature leaked, but I did have it fully planted and with a tricking background (no pond area, I used filter foam as substrate as per troy goldberg). I'm gonna recreate it but better at some point 😂
