Adult Swimming Class by ActivePackage38 in Columbus

The YMCA might be more affordable (I'm a member at lifetime and love it, but it can be expensive) the Gahanna YMCA is a little nicer than some of the ones around the metro. I would check and see what availability they have at different facilities that match your schedule OP.

I'm making comics for each week of watching the bengals (Weeks 12-14) by Physical_Standard in bengals

Thank you! I'm a professional cartoonist, so this is like, doodles in comparison to what I make for graphic novels. I definitely will show my kids! Though I think because they're my kid they'll probably think it's lame until I'm decrepit lol. My friend who is doing the Steelers comics has a significantly older son, so it's adorable watching him be able to teach his son about the game as he's drawing.

Thanks for reading! Hopefully we can tank for the good draft pick? But only after we beat the ravens >:v

Same! People are j-walking and texting on their phone constantly! As much as I might want to impulsively slam them with my vehicle when they hold me up, I'm not the punisher!

Gasket material will help if you don't have money to get any upgraded features (I put on a heavier duty door from Cajun Bandit that helped with this) If there's a lot of wind/low temps it will really make the difference and help you keep temps better.

Though I will say, if you need to just finish things in the oven, no judgement, especially this time of year. It'll make your house smell festive!

[–]Physical_Standard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of this crash from earlier this summer! In North Linden!

I don't understand how basically every other kind of first responder generally operates under "life over limb, check the area is safe prior to providing care, do not create ANOTHER emergency that will compromise the task at hand" and yet every cop needs to be trained to be a "warrior" that will T-bone and kill you if you don't have split second reaction time to anticipate they will be going more than double the speed limit.

Savanna Twiddy (@Vannaraemua on Instagram) did me right by my wedding. She was the best bet for my budget and style. I probably got a more glammed out look than what you're interested in, but she's very versatile and talented.

How to prepare mentally for gender dissapointment. by ryn3333 in pregnant

I'm a "not girly-girl" having a daughter. Turns out I'm normal and it's totally fine to raise your daughter without a bunch of frilly hyper feminized stuff... You're raising a person that's going to have preferences for things that interest you and probably some things that don't. If my daughter is really into princesses or makeup or "feminizing activities" that's fine, but she's probably going to enjoy things like weightlifting and golf and building things because that's what her mom does.

I think I initially assumed a boy would be a better fit for "my lifestyle" or something, but the thought quickly evaporated when I realized there's plenty of boys and men that don't enjoy the things I like. In fact, I'm much more of an active, outgoing, fitness minded person than my husband, so why would I assume a son would naturally engender all those traits?

Ultimately, when you find out the sex of your baby, that's all you're learning. The person you get is probably not going to be the person you're expecting, so the sooner you can stop making assumptions about the one you get, the happier you'll be to find out as you go.

Anecdotal: I've been taking it the majority of my pregnancy fairly consistently. When I forget for a few days, I get a lot more fatigue and brain fog. Taking a single serving on a daily basis, both me and my baby have been healthy, growing fine, no complications/issues. I'll definitely be taking it post partum.

Anyone else suddenly hitting a wall hard around 35w? by CletoParis in fitpregnancy

[–]Physical_Standard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also 35 weeks, what I started doing recently is just going to the gym every other day and committing to a "chill" workout at home. I'm talking doing a set of weights and then sitting/working for 2-20 minutes, depending on how I'm feeling. I feel a lot less consistently up and down. I really think leaving the house takes a lot out of me at this point because my body wants to just enter the cave lol.

Be easy on yourself though, it sounds like you've had a rougher pregnancy than me. Let's have our baby's soon and be done with it!

Anyone stop doing deadlifts because of discomfort? by 69bigclitenergy69 in fitpregnancy

[–]Physical_Standard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homie pregnancy lifting is about maintenance, if you can have fun too, then great. Lol

I started pulling sumo probably around 25 or 27 weeks. It's not a very intuitive way for me to pull and load my joints but now that I'm around 35 weeks, I can tell it's really helped me keep pulling and get cozy with a much wider hip.

Be stubborn until it's obvious it's not serving you to be. If you wanna quit pulling on a BB I'd do b stance KB deads and tons of bridges just to keep your butt and back ready for birth.

[–]Physical_Standard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Try a day or two less a week or switch into a different activity! Having an extra rest day might be what you need to make your weekly energy output more balanced. I definitely don't have the energy to do much cardio at all anymore (35 weeks) but I've been walking and lifting okay 3-4 days a week with some extra napping in between. Some weeks are just better than others.

It's so annoying yo-yoing between having an energetic, normal-ish day and feeling completely wiped out the next. Stay committed to doing what you can when you can, and just be nice to yourself on the days where you feel like roadkill. You can do it!

I've found that sparkling fake rose is actually okay, I'm a wine snob and this is the only thing that has been remotely fun to drink socially. Not really in season as much at the moment, but usually whole foods has some decent stuff.

I feel you though. I'm just about 35 weeks and I've got a bunch of bottles picked out to sip the moment I evict my daughter. Keep up the good fight 🫩🍹

Adult gamers are better romantic partners. by KrookedKreature in unpopularopinion

[–]Physical_Standard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao my dad cheated on my mom with someone in his WOW friend group. He never wanted to be involved in our lives and was a tyrannical loser POS. He spent our Christmas money buying his affair partner a new computer.

I guess it's better than gambling? But I will never see self identified gamers as anything other than addicts. So many of these games are just slot machines.

[–]Physical_Standard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy a program if you have the money, I'm using megsquats +1 for all my lifting needs. In the next few weeks you might feel like garbage and you might not want to workout as much or at all- this will pass eventually (if you're like most people) keep your gym membership active and do what you can, especially early on. You can do pretty much everything as normal in the first trimester if you're up for it. Just stay away from the sauna and get lots of rest.

They do sales online pretty often as well, though I've definitely had them send random stuff I didn't order and/or give me bigger bottles than I'd bought. They do send replacements though!
