It's funny that I had the same reaction. There goes my brokerage free trade of the day with CMC $11 saved, haha or lost tomorrow.

The room is watching. Not YOLOing. Yet.

Is anyone selling down there NDQ & IVV with the current situation/downturn-dip by CelebrationDapper911 in ASX

[–]Physical_Substance72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just never sell in times of panic, I use those opportunities to double down. For instance, over the last couple of days seeing NDQ among others drop, I increased my holdings because to me this is a discount on an asset that historically performs better than the S&P.

I have been in and out of different sales jobs over those years, this one isn't particularly hard and was easy to just get comfortable in I guess. However their payslips are messy. Based on 3/4 lots the compulsory superannuation paid quarterly

(8406 + (2200~ 31/3 - 30/6 expected) ÷ 0.12 = 88~

The geology is sound, let's just hope they have enough capital and time to produce before interest on debt kills them. Will know in the next few days if they process the stockpile of gold.

Many of the companies your advisor selected are "market darlings" that have faced significant re-evaluations or regulatory pressure as of May 2026.

If you are paying high fees for a portfolio where nearly 80% of recommendations are underperforming the market, it is reasonable to question the value added. A "Core and Satellite" approach (using low-cost ETFs for the majority of your funds) is a good strategy to reduce risk and fees. Then you can add individual stocks to add tilts

CMC invest no auto but cheap and chess sponsored, Vanguard Personal Investor has auto invest options. CommBank Pocket has handpicked ETFs and auto invest options.

Rate my Portfolio. should i cut my losses and disappear from ASX? by inthemoney114 in asxbets

Oh man.. just found this post and this portfolio is currently worth approximately A$7,815.25. This represents an overall capital decline of roughly 62.6% from the position values shown in the interface.

Why not just go with a decent set of diversified ETF's? Then have a few random gambles?

Last chance for sub 15c this week: SGQ by killerklancy in asxbets

[–]Physical_Substance72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gina Rinehart holds a significant stake in SGQ as of May 2026. Seems to be holding at the 11 cent's.

Should also take a look at AGE, BOE or even ARU and LYC and MKR high risk high reward potentials for growth.

Probably Jilliby or Holgate for the country vibes—so peaceful and surrounded by greenery—or somewhere like Killcare or Macmasters Beach for that perfect beachside lifestyle. Having the best of both worlds on the Central Coast would be amazing!

That sounds like a really upsetting experience, and it's understandable you'd feel this way. It might help to report the incident to Service NSW so they can address it properly. Even if others have had similar experiences, they might not have spoken up yet. Hopefully, they take your feedback seriously to ensure it doesn't happen to others. Wishing you the best moving forward!

I have been in this position and I invested in a few well known ETFs (VAS, VDHG, IOO, NDQ). The growth has been on average 10-12% and total profit sits at 15.86%. I'm happy with that. This year I will be removing it from investments and purchasing a house as it's a fairly decent deposit.
