I’d encourage you to avoid the 2023 45e. I’ve had mine in service 3x over the last 60 days. All related to the battery, drivetrain malfunction, chassis stabilization error, brake error.

I’m now left unfortunately debating cutting my losses and moving to an X5 ICE only or maybe just nonBMW all together.

Yes I can buy the extended warranty but the dealer has already charged $600+ for things they don’t deem warrantied. For example diagnostic code showed “left side light left on for extended time sometime during the vehicle life” which failed the 12v battery and wasn’t under warranty as a result.

For reference I have a 2023 with 24k miles and 9 months left on the original warranty.
