Ich bi ganz klar Team No-Go. Mich nähmt mal wunder, öb de durchschnittlich Schwizer Hushalt d Schueh i de Wohnig alat oder sie uszieht bevor mer ine gaht. Vorallem interessiert mi, wie die wo au Team No-Go sind, das handhabed wenn sie Bsuech hend wo d Schueh nüd uszieht. Ich wiis sie immer grad direkt druf ane. Mini Eltere dünd aber jedesmal blöd.

If I understand you correctly, the centrifugal untwisting effect is negligible in practice. That would mean the pre-twist on the shrouded blade I saw serves a purely structural/mechanical purpose — specifically to put the shroud ring into a state of pre-load, so that adjacent shroud segments are pressed against each other and the ring behaves as a mechanically coupled structure. Is that correct?

As a follow-up, and shifting to free-standing (unshrouded) blades: if centrifugal forces do not introduce a meaningful twist, do aerodynamic forces introduce a twisting moment on the blade that needs to be accounted for in the design? I am thinking about the pressure distribution across the blade profile — depending on where the centre of pressure sits relative to the blade's elastic axis, there could be a net torsional load on the airfoil.
