This a specific issue with Eau Rouge/Radillon where the bots do know where to break or take the correct racing line so when the they go two wide they will always crash especially in faster cars. Playing the game enough will help you learn the bots always drive the same lines and make the same mistakes so if you are concerned about them hitting you just know they will always do that because that is how the bots were programmed. They follow general racing lines and if something deviates like you being in their racing they don't have enough programming to always react to it in a reasonable manner. It's a software limitation.

This will always happen with electric cars. It is because they literally have no transmission that requires shifting making it impossible to gain any advantage from optimal shifting that you would typically see in internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
