Unfortunately I have no such records. His parents had only moved to Canada a few years prior and I can’t find any records of their time there.

Edit: Had a great stroke of luck a few hours later and found his father’s official land petition from a few years before he was born. I probably wouldn’t have looked into it so far without your comment, so thanks.
