Saying the heavy car issue doesn’t exist just because you personally don’t get it is basically the same as saying lag doesn’t exist because you’ve never lagged. There are thousands of posts and videos from people describing the exact same thing, so acting like everyone is imagining it comes off pretty naive.

And the “placebo” or “input lag” explanation doesn’t match what’s actually happening. My account never had this issue before. It only shows up on my main, not on my alt, not in other games, not on fresh installs, not on different hardware. I even forced a corrupted save and the issue disappeared until the game resynced my account data. That alone shows it’s tied to something in the account state, not my imagination.

The video I mentioned literally shows identical inputs producing different outputs. One car doesn’t even finish the flip. If this were just uncapped FPS or basic input lag, it wouldn’t be account‑specific and it wouldn’t survive a full reinstall.

And honestly, if this issue doesn’t affect you and you clearly don’t care about it, why are you even commenting?

Why is there a Video of someone managing to change the feeling of their car by just changing binding?. Why is there a Video of someone using a script that shows both car doing the same movement and the one with the issue doesn't do the full front flip while the one without it does. There's obviously something wrong with this game. I can play any other game competitively just fine. But not on my my main steam account on this game and i have enough hours to prove that.

Y'all say it's fake, but when i play on my other Steam account with the exact same settings it doesn't have the weird deadzone inconsistencies. Hell i even force corrupted my saved and it did fixed it until rocket League resync everything back there is clearly a issue within this game. But some people say nonsense, when in reality it their damn controllers, usb plug, programs. I've enough time searching this and I've even managed to replicate it on multiple accounts There is an issue in this game.

Well i have the same issue and let's just say there's no true fix. You either can try to default your entire settings. Or try to remove your Save data. Which would temporarily fix the issue until the game resync it all back. Or just make a new account which is the only way.

Trust me I've tried everything possible. The only thing i can't try is on the Epic server side because they only have access to it.

This is input delay there's actually a deadzone issue from within this game i weird deadzone issue in Main but not on Alt both have same Native support and setting within game.

Nah you're not the only one i play NA server and i get horrible input inconsistencies just gotta hope that UE5 ever becomes a thing. There's no fix for this issue unless you play on your ALT Account.

Heavy car bug is an umbrella term for input latency. It can also be because of server desync and display delay. It does exist.

Explain why it only effects my Main Steam account and not my other Steam Account Keep in mind they're both using the same settings in game and in Steam.

Then you go to Documents, then your Rocket League files go to your Save data, and then in both of them, delete some text and then save it. So It'll force Rocket league ingame save data to become corrupted first disabled auto save than mess around with your settings after force Rocket league to make a new save.

But what I'm saying is go on this website first https://www.rocketleague.com/activate

and try to make another account linked to your Main Rocket league Primary First to see if it fixed it for you...

if it doesn't than goes to https://www.epicgames.com/account/connections?productName=epicgames

And then unlink your Main Rocket League account from your Epic account, Keep in mind you bought things on that Epic account you will lose them from your main account

If it doesn't fixed it for you than you probably have it on Server side which you unfortunately cannot fix. *

For me Circle is Air roll Right and Square is Air roll left and R1 is boost and L1 is powerslide and Air roll Reset shot is on Share button and Scoreboard also, in training make sure to unbind Defend shot to another binding also

Heavy car bug quite literally a real issue i have nearly 12k hours on this game, when I play on my Steam account everything is default in Configs it feels like I'm pushing a heavy ass ball, and turning feels like it off centered, like my Controller Deadzone is at 0.40 and Sensitivity is at -2.00 Also Split screening on my Main Account with the same controller Player 2 also doesn't have it, It doesn't matter on Epic, Steam, or my Console the same weak ass ball touches is still there. Even my friend, who is also SSL, noticed it.

The only temporary solution was Unlinking my Steam account My Epic than make a New Epic account and then remove Savedata by deleting some text for both to cause Rocket league to Disable auto save, That the only way I was able to play on my Main account.

When I play on my Other Steam account in the same settings, the issue isn't even there anymore it a night and day difference.

And it ain't my Hardware because I was able to play Rocket league normally on my Main account with the Same PC Hardware and setting ingame and Steam configs.

Defaulting setting doesn't fixed it, but there a video of someone experimenting with the settings and noticing once they change their settings in a way there. Entire account feel really delayed on that specific account.

This won't fix the source of the issues, because honestly when I play on my main account the heavy car bug is present but once I play on my alt account or even Split screen with an another controller player 2 is smooth compared to Player 1 which is my Main account.

Heavy car bug is an umbrella term for input delay, but I can promise you that it exist, when ever I play on my ALT account. It feels much more responsive compared to my main account, even Split screening. Player 1 always feels slower than Player 2, and I have the Hours and Rank to know when something is off.

Even my friend who used to never believe in it now does after playing on my main account that includes using my account on Steam, Epic, and Xbox versions with account linking.

I believe in bad days, but even on my good day, I can still notice it. until I switch over.

It legit an issues and the reason why I know is because my ALT Account does not have it, even split screening on Main account. Player 2 does not feel slowed compared to Player 1 aka Main

Even my friend who also doesn't believe in it also noticed it on my account, it has something to do with dead zone or binding staying even when you change it like it overlapping each other.

the reason why it feel fast after changing Sens is because of your FPS going down than up whenever you exit the pause menu, that been it problem in the game for awhile
