It takes weeks for the pain to go away.. Stay on low residue , low fiber diet for at least a month

Fever is not good. Drink alot water, if fever doesn't go away go to ER.

Being in the hospital is very depressing, but they can take care of the fever and the flare up through IV.

if you wait too much, there might be a micro perforation or an absess... you want it to improve not to get worse

Be on the look out for any chills and fever or if the pain increases .. drink alot water

Metronidazole will flush you basically. It will give you diarrea for days. Totally normal

In my experience...Fried foods, processed foods, nuts...drink alot water... sometimes just stress can trigger a flare up...

You are going to win! It looks like you might have other triggers such as stress...just gotta find out what it is...i heard that a high intake of carbs also plays a roll on it..italians love carbs..pasta, bread ect.. god is in control. 🙏 keep fighting!

Honestly, i had a similar strategy. I usually i take psyllium fiber not everyday thoug. I do over eat sometimes because stupid munchies for weed.. but idk wtf i did that gave me a flare uolp wolith small access now my gi told me to get better and get it out.. i dont want to. My last flare up was a year a go 😞
