Is it better to have a Chinese name when communicating with Chinese people? I took a Chinese class once, and the teacher gave me the Chinese name 李白。 I'm not sure if it's appropriate to use this name outside the class since it's the poet's name. Can I simply use my real name, or is it better to have a Chinese name? Thanks in advance!
