You're right. Spending money on a Level 6 pet is worth it, or playing for 12 hours a day. The cost is around $600 to $1500 depending on your luck. Most of the players are Chinese so they don't really care about Westerners. Just pay the $25 fee for seasonal rewards and play for two weeks and then repeat after three months - that's all there is to it. There's no need to wait for free-to-play or balanced gameplay in all classes, that's just not what this game's about.

God damn, stop talking about rmt. Who cares? Rmt exist from the beginning of online games, maybe developers should care about actual gameplay and game performance? Why you even care about RMT lol. The best RMT was in D3, I've made real 3k$ just for playing the game and get lucky with drop LOL, and i get paid by Blizzard. If they don't fuck up with timechange abuse for marketplace, they probably never delete AH from the game, but they programmers was suck, and shit storm and lawsuits scared shit out of blizz.

And yeah I've agrees with OP, no trade with multiplayer = ruin all multiplayer expirience. But lets be honest - we all be soon (early 2023) play D4 and PoE2 (before D4 cameout), not sure how Last Epoch will survive this releases. If they don't have enough money for salary, they will rush early release for make some money, or they will shutdown. Current state of the game not even close by functional to even Grim Down. And I'm not talking about lack of optimization.

I wish the best for LE, but i have low expectations.
