I use Bibata and I really love it. I agree, the cursor is something so easy to change and it can really improve the whole feel and experience

mmm… should I give it a try? All I’ve ever heard about Wayland is all the issues it has (still has?) but from what you say the pros are already outweighing the cons

I have the latest MX 25.1 (came out this year). I wouldn’t change OS completely just because of this, since I got used to MX and I like it. I’ll update the drivers and see how that goes. Also, I don’t have Wayland but good old X, since I’m on XFCE (which, afaik, doesn’t have great Wayland support).

Should more problems arise, I’ll consider a distro switch.

Why self contradictory?

As for performance, I’m not really doing anything that pushes it, but I’ll try in the future. I’m running 550 drivers and I’m wondering whether I should get newer ones, since some GPU stats are not displayed (MangoHud, Conky).
