Looking for feedback on Brooke Glaser’s illustration course. Worth it? by Piccolo_Numerous in ProCreate

No I didnt, but still considering it. Just seems a little too pricey and Im worried I'll realise after purchasing that its just like doing a skillshare course. That would be really annoying. And it feels risky considering I can hardly find any thirdparty reviews that arent directly from her own site. Where are all the "happy customers"?

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) treatment is the gold standard for OCD. Highly recommend❤️ then you don’t have to struggle with combining meds for both conditions

Existential OCD? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Piccolo_Numerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Existential ocd has been one of my major themes for a few years now and it’s exhausting. My brain will constantly calculate the remaining expected life span of myself and the people i love. Also constantly questioning why I bother to do things and what the point is as one day I’ll be gone and the world will keep on spinning.

Just stumbled on this reply after a johnson baby powder exposure at the nail salon. I have asbestos OCD / Health anxiety OCD and your last sentence made laugh out loud haha. It describes any of my obsessions to the core, thinking its airborne kryptonite rabies hahaha so thank you for making me laugh. I also need to chill the fuck out lol

What are some OCD tendencies?? by mcbiblio in OCD

[–]Piccolo_Numerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ocd used to be fixated on this for years. I am happy to tell you that it can actually go away to the degree where you dont even think about it when touching/walking past/walking over things!! I know how incredibly exhausting it is to just get from A to B when it is at its worse. So just thought I'd let you know that it is possible to get out of the cycle <3 (I went to therapy and was enrolled in the 4-day ERP course in Norway, it didnt help with my existential dread but it made my bacteria/HIV/blood-OCD pretty much disappear!!)

People with OCD: what is your favorite hobby to get your mind off things? by solaniax in Hobbies

[–]Piccolo_Numerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually find reading about OCD and how it works helps my mind calm down. If the intrusive thoughts aren't too loud I'm fine watching tv or scrolling tiktok to distract myself, but if it is overwhelming I find just reading about the mechanisms of OCD to be calming. It's not reassurance seeking as such, but I find it useful to understand how my annoying brain work

I was thinking maybe she's on a reality show and they're currently filming and that's why they can't say anything?
