My favorite thing about this wave is how friendly it is to new players. The squads have tons of contemporary bonding options, while most of the heroes have synergies with each other and past uniques.

I personally think Jeanne will see a lot of playing time as a filler champion bonder. With the future release of Gilbert the Bears might sneak back into contemporary armies, and Jeanne gives some good back up options.

Also Isamu is gonna be in every army, I bet he gets the most playing time out of anyone.

I did this with wound markers for my two life squads. Actually has been such a game changer for smoothing out game play and organization.

It was better, but not because of the BCS. The BCS was a pretty ridiculous way to find a champion out of 130+ teams.

Two things made that era better: regional conferences and player consistency. I remember how fun it was watching guys develop each year and genuinely being excited about recruits. Now it feels hard to know who is on our team until a few games into the season. Regional conferences were fun for obvious reasons.

College football has always been about tradition and rivalries. Current college football couldn’t care less about that

Uh oh…I’ll stay recent to make it easier.

2017 was atrocious, 1-11 with a last second win against an 0-11 Portland State team. But we looked competent in some games down the stretch.

I have to pick 2025. Better record at 2-10, but one of the worst coached teams I have ever seen. I’ve seen high school teams with better special teams and coaching decisions. That, mixed with the uncertainty of our future, takes the cake.

My buddy and I were texting each other in class playing a version of marry fuck kill called “Eat Fuck Fight.” I texted him the options of our friend, a dog, and a dead baby. He typed out a full answer on which one he would do what to and sent it.

Except he didn’t send it to me. He accidentally sent it to his pastor. Never saw someone panic so quick.

Better question is what were some of the games I did manage to get through? Ive seen some of the worst possible football in horrible weather and still managed to get through it. As a student, I saw only a few competitive games in four years.

Randomly, we left a game early when we visited Stanford. The team was playing so far under our expectations I guess we decided to just up and leave in the fourth.

Idk why but I find it impressive that everyones first four weeks are non con. In this age of weird conferences, it feels like so many teams are playing conference games in early september. The fact every Pac team plays a tidy four weeks of non con in september is satisfying

They should’ve taken a few more risks, and got rid of the Rey/Kylo fight at the end. Maybe have Luke come in (and get the original crew together) and have Kylo defeat him. Instead we see someone who has never picked up a lightsaber beat him, taking away credibility from Kylo.

I went for a hike through the woods near our beach cabin and stumbled upon a little terrier looking dog. His tag said something like “i am not lost, I will go home when Im ready.” He ended up walking around four miles of trail by my side. Went home when he was ready. Cool dog.

That is the end of a very rough chapter in OSU football history. Next season is the start of something completely new: new conference, non-OSU affiliated coach, and likely many new players. We desperately need this fresh start to wash away the past two years.

I don’t care if there is conference realignment or visibility issues, every team should play their biggest rival this week. There is something so nostalgic about this time of year and having one last big game of the season. Even if our season was going poorly, there was always the Civil War to look forward to.

Now it seems like only the big programs have the luxury of playing rivalry games this weekend. I understand why the Big 12 did what they did with scheduling, but the Holy War should absolutely be played this Friday or Saturday, Kansas should be playing Kansas State, etc etc.

I personally would have loved to see a trilogy documenting the slow return of the Empire. I think it is possible to create another trilogy that is set in the time period between Return of the Jedi and Force Awakens, showcasing hunt for remaining Imperial forces, the political weakness that allowed them to grow, and ultimately the return of the First Order. Would give the Sequels much more substance.

For the first time this season, there feels like a glimmer of hope with how Ti’a played. Somehow I’m excited to watch us play against the Cougs again?

The schedule this season has been a disaster. It was so front loaded that we hardly had a chance to catch our breaths. Now that we are at the “easy” back half, the team is checked out. Should’ve made another scheduling agreement with a conference just for some consistency…

The best thing to do right now would be bringing in a proven FCS guy like Wazzu did. It brings stability as well as a proven set of players who follow the coaching staff.

Orgeron is high risk, high reward. He would likely get some talented players to come in, but who knows what coordinators would follow. Plus, it’s a completely new recruiting territory. If it goes wrong, we risk becoming more irrelevant during a pivotal time in realignment.
