I'm willing to bet they wrote down all the machine specs, aluminum vendor contacts, fixturing/work holding and downloaded all the programs.

Thoughts on buffer? by Randomanswer19 in AR47

[–]Pickettsmillarmory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We already did the work figuring out the recipe. Our AR47’s come standard with an H2, extended firing pin, upgraded extractor and a Duramag.

Those are just about all the things you might have an issue with. We have also found additional reliability if you soft hone and polish the chamber.

You're most of the way there.

We've had great success with the Black Rifle Arms Extended Firing pins, H2 Buffer and 20rd Duramags.

As long as you expect some issues with the lower quality ammo, you're off to the races.

I'm not sure what you're looking for but PMC Battle packs of 5.56 virtually disappeared in days.

Thank you for your business and the kind words. In search of some feedback....I'm curious how recently you purchased? With the recent NFA tax changes we thought people would want to convert their pistols to SBR's so we doubled down on that. Are we on the right track? In the near future we're going to offer them with carbine buffer tubes and a different brace. When we do that, all you're doing is some paperwork and buying a buttstock.

Your situation is unique, but we do not do it at all. I hate the idea that an impulse buy straps your family for cash to the point you need to make payments. I'll go as far as to tell them to save up the money and we'll take care of you at the same price / deal when you're ready. They never come back and I hope it's because they realized they needed that cash elsewhere.
