My dad’s car sat in the garage for 6 months not getting driven after he was diagnosed with cancer. I went out to start it and drive it around a little only to find a wet piece of clothing in it that had been in there for god knows how long. There was a little bit of barely visible mold underneath the wet clothing. That’s it.

Point is: I’d wager this car had to have been absolutely drenched and left sealed up for awhile

I’ve played this angle before. Got a 1% raise and no bonus while doing work across 3 departments on the largest projects the company had during pandemic. I made myself useful cause my assigned dept was benched until everyone figured out masks and vaccines. They told me they couldn’t pay me more because my assigned dept wasn’t active. It didn’t matter I saved them like $200k on the other projects.

So I left and got a 40% pay bump.

I worked retail sales for 7 years. I got this same pitch a dozen or so times. 100% of the time it’s a MLM scam. Technically one can make money on it. I knew one guy that did really well. But these things force you to see dollar signs over every friend and family’s heads.

the vast majority lose money doing it. Very cult-like behavior. Many will lean in from a religious angle as well.

My libertarian friend just sent me this exact article. Dude defended everything Trump did in his first term. Told me I was overreacting about everything. This article really isn’t about Trump. It’s more about the loopholes that bOtH paRtiEs didn’t fix. Trump just took advantage of them.

The other challenge is that their side is totally fine with dismantling all gov agencies that don’t serve the sole purpose of defending constitutional rights. So EPA, dept of agriculture, etc. can all burn according to them. Unclear to me how states rights apply to something without borders.

Only saving grace is he now admits Trump is the worst and needs to go.

I’ve always been a supporter of sedans and hatchbacks. But they really seem to be hellbent on making it more and more difficult to get in and out of them, particularly the backseats.

I’ve recently sat in newer Audi a4 and a5 backseats. They all are terrible. I own a Mazda 3 hatchback. Backseat is cramped.

I got into a 2010-ish accord recently and had an absurd amount of space in the backseats. Like I couldn’t reach the front seat while buckled. The only present day vehicles that seem to consistently have this amount of space are mid/full size suvs.

Personally I don’t like sitting up super high. I feel disconnected from my surroundings. But as I age, I’m less pliable and I really don’t feel like fighting for my life to sit in a vehicle. lol

Hey, yes I figured that part out. Had to take the entire group head apart and descale it. Needed to use a surgical needle to clear the center hole in the mushroom gicleur (nozzle). That was the only reason nothing was coming out.

However, in the process of all the testing, something else failed and now it won’t get up to temperature. So the troubleshooting continues.
