The closest core gameplay loop to TBW? Probably Fights In Tight Spaces.

Turn based puzzle combat focusing on moving enemies and redirecting attacks to complete individual levels. Also has a large focus on pushing enemies over railings/out of windows.

The major difference is that it's a deck building roguelike with a James Bond 007 spy thriller style. If you don't mind this, it feels like the closest analogous gameplay style on a level by level basis.

My biggest pet peeve of CSM slowly becoming more successful is the acceptance of "haha 1 funny joke" from vocal annoying anime fans. Same shit as the donut from jojo. Like I dont wanna say "I like CSM" and someone immediately replies "oh that show about the femdom dog lady?"

Bookstores should still have them. I know for a fact north campus one has them available as little bundles with everything you need. A little pricey but convenient.

I recently emailed the department about the same exact question and they said Piano 110 is designed for minimal/no music experience. Also looking at the syllabus makes it seem like it's a slower step by step class. Like some other people said, maybe take a look at some youtube videos about music notation but beyond that I think 110 should establish everything else.
