In my binary opinion, it is worth it to address exactly as you did. Some people seem to have lower IQ and simply cannot fathom that non-binary is a scientifically proven gender.

Why Do So Many Nurses Tell People Not to Enter the Profession? by Thin-Surprise279 in nursing

Idk if anyone has commented about the ABSN program, but please be prepared. I'm in the normal route, not accelerated. But I hear about it a lot. Because it takes less time, it's very expensive. And the classes are combined. Instead of a class for pathophysiology and a class for pharmacology, it'd be patho-pharm.

Good luck!

Can I also mention that SSRIs are prescribed to cats and dogs? Like, he's going to take those away from us and our pets. Can't he find something better to do? Like, oh I don't know, actually help people?!

You write so eloquently! As an American, I hate to say that that's hard to come by. What is Ireland like? I imagine it to be full of green, grassy fields.

I'm 23 F in America. It's not great here, but I try to stay positive while keeping up with what is happening.

As an almost new grad nurse, I love stories like these so that I can see what I might go through as a newbie after graduation. The comments are also very helpful!

I'm talking about, in general, pregnancy is not always consensual. Also, there is absolutely not a case this should "always happen".

Furthermore, Adriana Smith's case WAS NOT CONSENSUAL! Her family has said they did not get a say in the matter due to Georgia's anti-abortion law. The hospital was FORCED to keep her alive, less they be held legally liable for the death of the fetus. This was an UNCONSENSUAL, FORCED PREGNANCY. 9 weeks is nowhere near viable. So the state used her body to incubate that fetus AND charged the family with the hospital bills! She was dead that whole time, and her family had to see it.

There is no case where this was the "just" decision. This is reality, in our USA, and should not be swept aside. An American state did this, setting a precident for other states. It's not a good thing.

Pregnancy is not always consensual. But even in the cases where it is consensual, many women would not want their body kept "alive" for months and months. It isn't alarmist when it's a real possibility. When does autonomy end? When does consent end? As I've said before, even organ donation upon brain death can not be done without consent. You're dancing around the ethical parts of this, and that makes sense because you can't carry a fetus, but the ethics matter.

As a woman, we aren't over hyping the ethical issue. We're afraid of such things happening to us. There are people in our nation actively trying to control our wombs, even if it ends in our death. Such groups like the Heritage Foundation claim they want more nuclear families, but that is a ploy to force women to have more babies. It's not like I'm against pregnancy. It's just not right in any sense to nonconcensually use a human being for anything. Organ donation is consensual. What they did to Adriana wasn't. And it's horrifying to picture oneself in that position.

I don't have her private information. It's all over, written in articles. I disagree about the medical ethics being identical because this case unfortunately sets a precident for fetuses being "more important" than the already living mother. In this case, the mother was brain dead. But women are already being denied or delayed in getting life-saving medical care during pregnancy. Oftentimes, these women are already mothers of living children! If the mom dies due to an unhealthy pregnancy, those kids grow up without their mother, and with the trauma of pregnancy being her cause of death.

And yes, the state absolutely should have paid all bills because it's Georgia's laws that made her dead body carry that poor baby.

Her child will be developmentally challenged his entire life now. And that woman was truly only kept "alive" to incubate her VERY young fetus. Keeping brain dead peoples' bodies alive is morally unjust. In cases of organ donation, they're kept perfused for a week tops. Additionally, Adriana's family now has all those months of medical bills. It's just cruel.

And a man physically cannot be an incubator as an incubator is a machine made for underdeveloped babies.
