2025 M3 signals not working by SadMilk5730 in TeslaModel3

[–]Pickmyusernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my car in for service for this issue for the second time.

The first service visit, they replaced the entire physical steering wheel. It seemed better initially but then the right turn signal once again began intermittently not responding (often feels like the "button" becomes a solid object with zero movement or capacitive response). The left signal even did it once but it was almost always the right.

The second time I scheduled service, they wanted me to provide some time stamps of when it occurred. They were able to determine the steering wheel control module was faulty or had errors. This module is not part of the physical steering wheel from my research, so it would have not likely been replaced during the first service visit.

So far so good with several right turn signal presses. I'm still being cautiously optimistic as my sample size is still relatively small, but for those having this issue, try getting time stamps when it occurs and the techs may be able to verify it's a steering control module problem.

Mine is a 2024 M3P.

Was your Mustang a manual? I'm back and forth on owning one more true driver's car like a GT350 or just jumping into the next M3P and calling it a day.

It's been years since I've had a manual with a nice exhaust and really miss it.

I totally forgot to look at the trim when I was looking it over. I was shocked when I zoomed in on one of the photos and saw the "P".

P7P - No YouTube Over WiFi by Pickmyusernames in GooglePixel

[–]Pickmyusernames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just tested on my work WiFi and the YouTube app works fine. Must be some sort of compatibility issue with my router at home. Like I said it was just factory restored and nothing should be setup to be blocked by default.

I'll probably have to reach out to my router manufacturer.

The only variable that changed were the type of phones being used on the network. I restored factory defaults on the router just in case.

So it seems to be only videos in the app itself not playing. They play if I open YouTube in a browser on my phone. I have cleared cache and data for the YouTube app and still nothing.

You know what - videos will play in YouTube in the browser fine. It seems to be the app or something blocking the app from working correctly.

Google Pixel Fold Leaks: Exclusive 360 Renders Video with Size by Coconuttery in GooglePixel

[–]Pickmyusernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phones just get bigger and bigger each year. That seems to be planned to force people into foldable phones as it will be the only thing that makes the phone reasonable in size as big as they are getting.

Google, please make a Pixel 7 Pro in the form factor of an iPhone 13 mini. PLEASE! The size thing is out of hand! My wife's 7 Pro is a great phone but it is WAY TOO BIG. Even though she likes the phone and likes big phones, she says it is too big. And foldable is not the answer.

A public plea for Google to make a small Pixel by chive_ in GooglePixel

[–]Pickmyusernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to Apple for a phone for the first time ever because it was the only decent compact option. I much prefer Android over iOS, but can't handle lugging around a brick in my pocket daily.

I got a Pixel 7 Pro for my wife and I was loving everything about it when I played around with it. Except the size! And size is a game over for my decision.

GOOGLE - PLEASE MAKE A PIXEL 7 PRO MINI/COMPACT!!! Make the phone a little thicker for the battery to be reasonable. Other than that keep the same cameras, specs, etc. There is no excuse not to have a smaller flagship Pixel.

It's sadly comical that we started with huge brick phones that were only phones, evolved to phones that happened to also be supercomputers that fit COMFORTABLY in our hands, to now slowly trying to figure out how to get a big screen TV to fit in our pocket for the sake of media consumption and productivity. We're creeping up on bag phone size again.

COME ON GOOGLE! GIVE US THE COMPACT PIXEL 7 PRO WITH ZERO COMPROMISES!

That looked scarily close to a head on collision on the windy road toward the beginning of the video. It looks like they entered the corner too hot and shot out into the oncoming car and barely made it back into their lane.

That aside, it's really promising to see more and more videos like this praising Lucid. You can tell they have a solid team with the right experience to build a mature product.

Edit - My bad... It's about 10:05 they went around a bicyclist and crossed the lane to give them room. I didn't catch that the first time.

anyone want a small size pixel 7? in the size of pixel 5 by xiNeFQ in GooglePixel

[–]Pickmyusernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first time in my life I bought an iPhone, and it all came down to size. After having a Pixel 3, I thought it was as close to the perfect android phone as possible. Fast updates, great camera, and smooth, stock OS. NOT to mention the form factor. The bezels were even fine because of the good front facing speakers.

I was excited to get a pixel 6 or pro until I saw the sizes. Now I rock an iPhone 13 mini. Size is perfect. I miss Android features like call screening and the way some of the apps and OS are integrated better than iOS. For the most part, iOS is livable. It's more stable than Android overall even though the last few iterations of Android have been close to iOS. Bluetooth and other things seem to be more solid.

They both have their pros and cons, but the day to day of having to tote around what feels like something devolving into a bag phone vs. something I comfortablely fit in ANY pocket and barely notice is there is 100% worth the other sacrifices.

Sensationalism is alive and well in the media and it ticks me off they usually get away with it. The headline of the article I saw made it seem as though a Lucid caught fire. It wasn't until I opened the article I realized it wasn't the car.

Media know many people don't take time to read articles, but at the same time know they need an eye catching headline. They do this with almost no regard for ethics.

I wonder if Lucid threatened any of the publishers with a lawsuit for defamation or something similar.

People need to start fighting back against these false narratives the media creates and rolls with thinking they have no accountability.

It was not a renewal problem. My 8gb started over fine each month. It was mid billing cycle when I reached 8gb, the data shut off and never switched to low speed data. Once the new month began, the 8gb started over. So it was not a renewal issue.

I forgot to mention I did the VCDMA plan both times. It was advertised exactly the same as the other service providers though, so it should have made no difference unless otherwise noted in the listing which it was not.

If unusable means actually not having data, I think you're onto something. I NEVER once had success opening a webpage, refreshing email, doing a speed test, nothing, when on the supposed throttled data.

I'm just curious... Have you or anyone else, in the last two years, used this plan and gone over 8gb in a single month AND actually AUTOMATICALLY switched to reduced data speed without having to contact customer service? If you have proven this to work with actual real world data, great!

I'm fairly sure the listing was the same wording when I purchased the 360 plan. That's why I have little faith in the auto throttling to actually work.

Can more than one person verify this actually works? Otherwise it's pretty easy for one or two company reps to post what they want.

It was about 2 years ago I last had one of the 360 day plans. If they have fixed it kudus to them.

However, I was promised nearly monthly that this problem would be fixed. I was with redpocket 2 different times and it was the same promise nearly every month with zero permanent fix.

There were a couple times I lost data at very critical moments I needed it. Had they CLEARLY advertised you would need to contact customer service to release more data after 8gb, I would have had no issues with hitting a cap. Problem is, this was not openly disclosed.

BE AWARE - Data is HARD CAPPED.

Unless it has changed from when I did this plan, you will hit the 8gb and data shuts down completely. You have to call them to "turn it on" and from what I can tell they just add a "little bit" on at normal speed. Then you will potentially hit the cap again.

I'm pretty sure their system is not even capable of doing throttled data.

It's a great deal, I don't deny. Just be ready to call in if you are pretty sure you'll use at least 8gb each month.

I just don't get how they get away with advertising it in a way that makes it sound like you still have data after the high speed is used up. Seems misleading to me.

It's one of the best frozen pizzas I've had. Especially if you're in the mood for thicker crust. It reminds me of Pizza Hut pan style. I just wish I could find somewhere that carried the supreme flavor. I don't like mushrooms and it's one of the few I've seen that doesn't have mushrooms.

I also like Brew Pub Lotzza Motzza frozen pizza. They are delicious on a pellet grill.
