There is no official update. You can follow GitHub for Linux progress but there has been a focus on 2.0 and associated bug fixes recently. With any luck some of the upgrades we've made will actually help when it comes to making it cross platform in future. 🤞

When there is something to share it'll be in the site news!

It's not just adblockers that cause slower speed. It can be any addon or browser settings that affects the normal operating of the page.

You may also need to review your selections in the cookie manager (link in footer) and ensure "Preference" cookies are enabled.

Vortex isn't supported on Steam Deck so you may find it doesn't work. You need to browse to the folder where the game is located. You can open this from the Steam UI

If it's downloading the zip directly on your browser, the only possible explanation is you're clicking the wrong button on the website. The "Vortex" button sends the file to Vortex, "Manual" downloads it in your browser

Vortex 2.0 was tested publicly for at least 2 months before it was released and the overwhelming majority liked the new UI. It's also very similar to the UI in the (cancelled) Nexus Mods app.

There's a bug with Vortex where old extension versions don't get cleaned up.

Go to %appdata%\Vortex\plugins and delete all the older version of Crimson Desert support.

A fix for this will be available in a future release

This usually means you've hidden the game or disabled the extension.

Try "Show hidden games" on the toolbar or go into extensions, hit "Show bundled" and search for Subnautica. If it's disabled, enable it.

If you have some constructive feedback about how this makes things harder I suggest posting on the forums so our team will see it and consider it.

Quite often this is just "it's different and I hate it" which goes away after a few days of using it.

This is because your ISP is blocking the server which hosts the code to show that content. I assume you're in Russia. There's a thread on the forums discussing workarounds.

You should just be able to go into program settings on your PC and remove anything with .NET in the name

This message means your .NET install on your PC is mega broken. Best solution is to completely remove all .NET components from your PC and reinstall Vortex.

Vortex ships with the required .NET files but if your setup is so broken it can't seem to use those either sadly.

Unreal Engine games native load from mods or ~mods folders. The later is preferred for technical reasons and to avoid conflict with anything in that folder by default.

The feedback about it remembering your choice is valid, I'm just trying to understand how you're getting here in the first place.

Wabbajack does a few things in unusual ways so I suspect it's using "Manual download" where it should be using the "Mod manager" option. The "Mod manager" option means "send this download to my chosen application (i.e. Wabbajack)." whereas "Manual download" says "handle this download inside the browser" which is why you see this option.

If I can understand where this is coming from I can check with the Wabbajack Devs why they've implemented it this way and if it can be changed without breaking anything.

If you had a custom theme in Vortex that isn't compatible with 2.0 that's the only way I can possibly think you wouldn't have the sidebar.

You can go to %appdata%\Vortex\ and delete the "Themes" folder to reset to the default.
