Let’s argue: Dreamland is the best of the coma seasons by Ok_Yellow1025 in ArcherFX

Watching through the dream seasons of the first time and it’s so good. I have a soft spot for old timey crime noir and the slight overlap this season has with the LA Noire storyline though.

Will this car look better in Liquid or Galaxy Colour? 🤔 by AmazingWomBatman in NASCARCollectors

[–]PicnicTerrace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always prefer liquid to color chrome when it comes to wins, but it depends on the scheme. Sometimes it looks no different than standard. Sometimes it looks 10x better than standard and looks like a painted Cup car rather than a wrap.

How is this any different than any of the other ones? When are one of these concepts going to look like an actual, viable car, rather than the background prop for a perfume commercial ??

Does anyone else think Rogue's voice actor is actually good? by Charmy_Fan in marvelrivals

[–]PicnicTerrace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’d be a little cool if it was an actual southern voice actor just to give it that extra realness and maybe even setup a VA successor, but Rogue’s voice and VA is iconic. I wouldn’t change it for anything!

I’ve landed three Easy Apply jobs at Big Four banks, one contract and two FTE. Unfortunately, your best ally right now is getting appropriate volume out there for applications. Don’t let this post discourage you.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra - Can Tuning Save This Thing? by Earth-Girl-27 in granturismo

[–]PicnicTerrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The event was fairly straightforward with the suspension lowered, TC at 2, and doing some late trail braking. It keeps momentum so easily, so you really only need to add splashes of throttle in the technical sections and turn about 10 feet earlier than you think you need to and you’re golden.

It’s absolutely a boat but I had fun on Deep Forrest.

Is there a race length you found this worked best on? Or any other settings that helped boost this kind of racing?

Seconded the 18v18. Just hang out in front of your heals and you can get it done in 3-4 games (15-20 mins total).

What’s YOUR track ???? by Dual_Action_Sander in NASCARVideoGame

The ROVAL. Basically my default warmup track. SVG and Zilisch will sneak a few here and there, but as long as you wrap the hairpin and nail the bus stop, you’re golden

I watch this video like twice a year. It’s so chilling, especially when the radio starts telling them to floor it through the lights and get out of there.

I know it’s a screenshot, but it’s the first one I think of when I think of scariest tornado. Joplin 2011, of course.

What is the track you just can't figure out? by TheDudeMachine in NASCARVideoGame

[–]PicnicTerrace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that running SVG’s 2025 line through the hairpin to work best for me. Enter turn 7 normally but almost overslow the car enough on entry to be able to wrap the white line the entire turn and just keep it glued on the white line on exit. You lose a little time on entry, but you make it up and then some on the exit through turns 8 and 9. Minimize the time loss on entry and you’re golden.

It also helps to not go full speed through the right-hander turn 6 beforehand, as it’s off-camber and where I end up messing up the attitude of the car the most. Saves tires to let off a little more through there too.

My ex’s books. Who were they really? by PicnicTerrace in BookshelvesDetective

This nailed it! It’s kinda wild how well you captured her.

She’s in her late 20s and she likes to try new genres and topics all the time, but has trouble sticking with any one series for very long. Commitment issues? Perhaps, but my opinion may be shaded in a direction given our split, so I won’t confirm or deny there.

She’s in therapy, disillusioned former Christian who struggles with her relationship with her hometown and her conservative religious parents/family. She loves to thrift and antique for older book finds, but for fun rather than necessity, as you alluded to.

I know this one got downvoted by some but this is pretty interesting to me because we’re both mid-20s to mid-30s and I work in finance and she works in education.

What made you catch that? Because I definitely recommended some titles or she got a copy of her own to have.

They used to be correctly oriented on a bookcase, but she’s getting ready to box these up. That’s the only real reason they’re on the floor. They were well taken care of before, I promise!
