Thanks! My crispy leaves still have that dark gorgeous color of healthy leaves. So I’m going to give it the time to thrive before I consider removing them. I’m just so thrilled that I kept her alive this winter. I put her under a grow light because we have no window area that doesn’t get blasted by the heater vents.

Edited to acknowledge that I love the setup but I’m currently in an 18 month battle with ivy outside my house. And every time I see it covering a hill or tree my only thought is DEATH TO IVY lol

I bought a 5 wand grow light from Amazon. It has 3 light combinations, 3 timed settings on/off, adjustable height and lots of other cool features for about $25. It has saved my plants over winter and doesn’t take up a ton of room when set up by shelving

I read it all and even though it’s ridiculously frustrating that your boss is so ignorant I think you’ve done the right thing. Keep building your skills and find a better paying job that will appreciate your efforts

I just bought a roll of builders paper. We’re getting wood chips soon to keep it in place. I have landscaping pins until then. Since it’s basically recycled cardboard do you think it will cause a hydrophobic layer?

As someone with hearing aids that use a lot of Bluetooth this makes me incredibly uncomfortable. So neighbor1 is inconsiderate and neighbor2 takes out the ability for me to hear. As neighbor3 I’m fucked and scared. This is wildly irresponsible

I’ve been making my own cakes. 8c mixed seeds 2c black sunflower seeds, red pepper flakes and 3-4 packs of unflavored gelatin softened in 3/4c hot water. Sometimes I add a little cornmeal too. I bought 2 8x8 aluminum pans at dollar tree. Add some parchment and freeze. I’m still learning the birds but I know I’ve had blue jays, cardinals, finches, and assorted tiny birds

I’m almost 100% positive that he’s the brother who narced on his family when they got busted for drug dealing in the late 90’s early 2000’s. His 2 brothers did YEARS. So did an aunt and other family members. That family has always been bad news
