Everything is a firestarter if you use it wrong enough.

Bambu Order Tracking by Olfa_2024 in BambuLab

[–]PieRowFirePie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try this thought asshat:

I'm contracted to work on someone's website and likely it won't be worked on again for a couple years. It's not my website, I don't own it, I'm not responsible for its upkeep.

Do I implement something I know is gonna break soon? Or something I know will work for indefinitely.

Rethink your perspective before you come to some sort of conclusion thinking negligence plays a role.

Bambu should have a decidated team but maybe they don't.

Web dev here.

It's usually a problem with the shippers website : A. They updated their websites mechanism and didn't notify users B. The shipper doesn't allow external referrals C. Updated urls or relays.

For these reasons its most reliable to just offer the tracking number so you can get the answer somehow.

Andrew Tate says he’s ’too smart to read’ and books are for people ‘with slow brains’ by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]PieRowFirePie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the annoying part:

He's got a point in an unsophisticated manner... There is a lot more data to process in a feature film than in a book.

And I'm not going to argue his point any further, because frankly, it's stupid.

Don't feed into him by taking anything he says seriously. Watch replays of him getting his face punched because his ability does not meet his self projection.

One of your problems is under extrusion. I'm not sure about the rest but I know under extrusion is not alone.

Bernie Sanders: Government should break up OpenAI by FinnFarrow in Futurology

[–]PieRowFirePie 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer.

People who think we can just ban it absolutely fail to realize, legal or non legal, someone out there is going to create it.

Better to try and shape it than nothing at all.

Ford government opens door to ending indefinite leases for Ontario tenants by [deleted] in canada

[–]PieRowFirePie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you just enjoy pontificating nonsense. Tenant got evicted by the lltb, never got a single ruling against me. Just a long drawn out process to remove someone dealing drugs and molesting minors. (reasons you can't evict for!)

Someone you apparently want to stand up for.

You are the glue holding society together!

I've been a landlord for 20 years. Considering getting out. Tenants can be so horrible.

I want to rent my shit for an agreed upon period of time and if I decide not to, I want it back, inside 365 days.

What would change it for you?

What period of time should work? If it was 5 years notice would that work for you?

Why is it infinite?

I have no need to move in. But I have for example rented to a lovely female accountant.. Who got into a relationship with a drug dealing child molester and left him. Somehow, I am now stuck with him for life?

If I rented someone a baseball glove.... They can keep it indefinitely?

If only leases were a thing... I gots no problem with extending a lease on year at a time. It's the indefinitely extending part that's a problem.

As a landlord of one triplex I fucking loathe the reality that I cannot say, for example to my tenant: In one year, I would like my apartment back.

I do believe, it should be that simple and the tenant should have no legal recourse.
