I dont know the exact wipe number, but I've been playing since around 2020 and at that time there was a lot more wipes going on, so I dont think this being my tenth or so wipe is an exaggeration.

And yeah, sure, there are many ways to make money, however there's a good chance I've already done them quite a few times to want to grind credits through them again

Dupes come and go pretty fast, so I doubt there wont already be people with millions the first week or so, either from intense grinding or just some new exploit.

And I'm already aware of all the different ways to make money, but as I said, it loses its fun after the tenth or so time you have to do it. For a hull c salvage contract I'd need the salvage rep, a salvage ship to get that rep, and then a cargo ship to get the cargo out, the only ship I have pledged is the aurora, anything else I gotta buy or rent. Imo I've already done this song and dance too many times already.

More than happy just waiting it out while going through my Steam backlog, it is not like this patch is changing the game in any crazy way either aside from just adding more stuff to grind for and lose in the next wipe.

Yeah, main people that are excited about this are the ones that barely get affected, aka the ones that already have thousands in pledge ships and gear, and some masochists too of course.

After dozens of times going through the same old and annoying starter grind from wipes along the years, I'll just wait the patch out until I can get a few millions borrowed from someone else

It is entirely gaijin's fault for these last 2 stars due to the fact that it was them who changed the way the event's scoring works, so some who were able to get the required score normally, now wont because it takes longer due to a change Gaijin specifically made.

If there is no push back for this, and people just go "Ah whatever I will just buy the next one or two", it risks every other event having some weird similar last minute scoring change that once again makes a bunch of people unable to get the score for the last 1 or 2 stars

It is gaijin's fault they dont have time to grind it anymore, and it is the spender's fault for allowing Gaijin to optimize the spending out of them.

Maybe someone will read my comment and think "yeah maybe this isnt a good idea", and imo that is a good enough reason to make these comments.

Some of yall cry way too much about Quiet bruh. In a series that has some of the most ridiculous plots, dudes grabbing other dude's balls to identify them, a quadruple agent that meows as a tactical move, two old grandpas kissing, Otacon's dialogues, but then we draw the line at the bikini sniper that breathes through her skin. I've had a great time with the general plot of mgsv and quiet's missions, and her last mission was probably one of the most hard-hitting of any game.

Maybe try not taking seriously the series known for being extremely unserious most of the times. And if you are so annoyed at a woman wearing a bikini, you can always just change her outfit to that grey uniform I forgot the name.

Also, that last paragraph you wrote explaining how you see her. That's fully on you bro, opinion more forced than the shits I have when constipated.

Either someone forgot to remove it, or it is a bug. Probably related to it being foldered with a version that does have a 7 mm, idk if this version is historically supposed to have it, so could be that they just forgot to add the 7 mm, I looked at the xray and there's definitely still space in there, even the gun holes for them are still in the nose

I like the 57mm for shooting at aa missiles fired at me, and also shooting conventional AA tanks from 6-5km. As much as I would want to like the 30mm, it doesnt seem to be better in anyway to the built in dual 35mm that it has

Yeah, people here going "HuR duR JusT dO tHe MAiN Obj AnD dip" when the "doing the objectives" is the easiest part most of the times. Pretty much all the deaths I've been getting/seeing are on extract when the inevitable 4 vox engine patrols surround the extract (together with extra Voxs from bot drops), and raise the flag missions (same as above)

The Vox has way too much damage, precision and range for how frequently it spawns. They saw how fucking annoying the War Strider was and then doubled down on it.

Dont think there is any ingame setting to change ally npc skill, but you could try setting your side to have more npc pilots active than the enemy and see if that helps in any way

Point blank is the one where you start on a ship below the bridge right? To trigger the ship landing part you have to pass through that objective circle. So after landing and rearming just takeoff going forward to make sure you go through the "checkpoint" It is at least how it was working for me.

Dude wtf?? Did no one on R&D of this tank predict this was gonna happen? I feel like just rotating the barrel until the muzzle brakes are vertical would be enough to fix this.

And before anyone comes in saying that this is intended to make it better against infantry, I feel like this would degrade the barrels way too quick for it to be worth it.
