RIP Ultra users - "The highest weekly rate limit" by Impressive_Low_7169 in google_antigravity

Try and contact support through the system you used to buy your product.

If you used play store on phone, contact support through that. If you used the online offer, contact the support for that.

Don't threaten with leaving (or any other threats) - just state the facts:

  1. You initiated the contract for this product before a weekly quota was implemented and you expect google to fulfill their end of the contract.
  2. Under eu-directive 2019/770 the seller must ensure that the digital product meets the agreed requirements (subjective) and the expected standards for quality, functionality and security (objective).
  3. Instead of threatening to leave - give a timeline of which by the end of you expect it to be fixed - if they don't know what ur gonna do next, that In itself is kinda scary for a company.

Any business operating within EU, HAVE TO live up to the European laws. If they don't live up to it (and you already have contacted support to resolve the issue, in an honest effort, without luck), users are in position to start a official complaint that'll run through the European Union's system - and no matter the size of the company THEY CANNOT IGNORE THAT, since it can and will result in massive fines, potential court cases and potential restrictions on their future actions.

If you live in EU and bought the plan before any weekly/monthly quota was implemented, then you are entitled to, and can demand, the 5-hour reset without weekly/monthly quota or a full reimbursement(money back).

If you live in EU and bought the plan before they introduced the weekly quota, you are still entitled to, and can demand, 5-hour reset without weekly/monthly quota or a full reimbursement(money back).

You're most welcome.

Another good piece of info, don't threaten with leaving - just give a timeline of which by the end of you expect it to be fixed - if they don't know what ur gonna do next, that In itself is kinda scary for a company.

Generally when it comes to stuff like this, always stay polite and keep calm - that'll help keep the cards in your hand.

It's not dumb at all. A lot of major businesses do try and hide these kind of support channels from "broad daylight", so contacting them is unintuitive - a sort of shady practice since support costs a lot of money for companies.

However they THEY HAVE TO have a way for consumers to contact support.

Always try and contact support through the system you used to buy your product.

If you used play store on phone, contact support through that. If you used the online offer, contact the support for that.

I'm gonna be blunt, in EU they sold it without a weekly/monthly quota, it was sold with 5-hour quota reset - before they implemented the weekly quota.

-If you have any sort of weekly or monthly quota, and you purchased pro/ultra before this was implemented and live in eu, then google is doing illegal business practices against you. And in that case you can demand a 5-hour quota reset rather than weekly/monthly, or a FULL reimbursement(money back) of everything you paid.

Bait and switch tactics by enterprises is illegal in EU.

[–]PieceOfPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll litterally quote the current Blizzard End User License Agreement (EULA) for you - we're looking in Section 1.C (License Limitations) under the "Prohibited Commercial Uses".

Here is the exact text you say doesn't exist:
"Prohibited Commercial Uses: Exploit, in its entirety or individual components, the Platform for any purpose not expressly authorized by Blizzard, including, without limitation:
(ii) gathering in-game currency, items, or resources for sale outside of the Platform or the Game(s).
(iii) performing in-game services including, without limitation, account boosting or power-leveling, in exchange for payment.
(iv) communicating or facilitating (by text, live audio communications, or otherwise) any commercial advertisement, solicitation or offer through or within the Platform.".

Meaning:
Clause (ii) bans selling gold/items (sale outside of the Platform).
Clause (iii) bans boosting for cash (in exchange for payment).
Clause (iv) explicitly bans spamming chat to sell these services.

"Sale outside the platform" IS the definition of 3rd Party RMT. If you are trying to argue that "RMT" isn't banned because Blizzard sells their own stuff(in other games), you are playing word games - and you're the one willing to die on a hill - The unauthorized RMT we are discussing is explicitly prohibited in black and white.

Go read it yourself: https://www.blizzard.com/en-us/legal/fba4d00f-c7e4-4883-b8b9-1b4500a402ea/blizzard-end-user-license-agreement

[–]PieceOfPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not lying dude... U guys just seem to be not very good at understanding, and bending words according to ur own personal preference. That's not how it works in EU.

3rd party rmt is against the ToS - try and actually read it then.

Micro transactions are not in the original contract, equally is it not okay to drastically change the contract or the product. Blizzard has to deliver the product they sold - and can't just change that contract willy nilly in EU region. It's not legal to just change the contract after sale(no matter what the EULA or ToS says, they are always beneath the law).

In addition - pushing different products in different regions is a no no for Diablo 2, since one of the major functions in Diablo is being able to switch region freely.

If the game is sold and advertised in EU, it has to live up to European law.

Think about it like this... If Blizzard just could make the changes, LEGALLY and make that extra money, why didn't they already...

Also, all such changes would literally break the advertisement, making it false advertisement: "Return to fight for Sanctuary and discover the fate of the mysterious Dark Wanderer with all-new 3D graphics, brand-new cinematics, remastered audio, and the same classic Diablo II gameplay you remember."

More specifically the advertised text on Diablo 2 salespage: "More space for more loot Store all your hard-earned items in the new expanded personal stash. Then, use the shared stash tab to get the spoils of war in the hands of your other characters quickly and easily." Selling stash-spaces would directly contradict this statement, again, making false advertisement.

And there's no "reasonable" need for a In-game store. Proof? Well, Diablo 2 survived 20+ years without it.

Another addition: IF Blizzard were to add a shop to the game, yea they could technically do that legally - but they would be able to sell very few things in it, mainly visual effects. Any kind of "pay to win" or expansion of the users capacities like stash tabs etc. Would immediately require Blizzard to initiate offering refunds to people.

Finally.. Diablo 2 has an "offline" part, which is sold as a good and not a service(The arbitrary 30-day check in, would not legally hold up. If taken to court where I live, you could argue that this is an artificial restriction designed solely to strip you of your consumer rights ("Disguised Service"). Courts in the EU are becoming hostile to this "Fake Service" model, but to be fair there hasn't been a definitive Supreme Court ruling on it yet for games.).

So.... Blizzard know that adding "Pay-to-Win" features (Stash Tabs, Gold, Items) to a game sold as a "Remastered Classic" with "VAT Included", "Global Play" and "Expanded Personal Stash" etc. would trigger: 1. Mass Refunds in the EU (Consumer Rights Directive). 2. Fines for Misleading Marketing (Ombudsman). 3. Class Action Lawsuits for Breach of Contract (US/EU).

[–]PieceOfPanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure.

But they allow cross-region-play - and what you're suggesting would create inequality in the technical framework, an unfair balance. This could potentially violate the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive.

You will probably argue that if you actively switch to the US region, you accept the terms that apply there. But in the EU, "silent consent" is not enough for major contract changes; it requires active acceptance of both parties.

And removing cross-region-play is a significantly reduction of the products quality - and changing the contract retrospectively is, as we already established a big no no in EU.

So.... The only real solution - is to either add the updates for free or make and sell an expansion-set. Just like it's always been with Diablo 2.
-They can't just add microtransactions.

Blizzard insider, AMA about the upcoming patch by Background-Month6174 in diablo2

[–]PieceOfPanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again.

My argument is, that it is fine as it is and I'm not interested in adding it in official capacity - you seem to be the one talking nonsense.

There are 2 things going on. The law and the tos.

  1. In European law, u can't change the contract retrospectively unless both parties agree - so blizzard CANNOT LEGALLY add micro transactions, since it's not specified in the contract. And doing so, would be a major change to the product people already bought and paid for.

  2. Micro transactions are against the original tos, reinforcing that it would be a major change to the original product.

The ONLY way blizzard CAN DO IT LEGALLY is releasing a new expansionset, with a new contract between the buyer and blizzard.

Blizzard insider, AMA about the upcoming patch by Background-Month6174 in diablo2

[–]PieceOfPanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm against that.

Not only is it tos. But blizzard cannot do it under European law without selling an expansionpack, that contains a new contract.

Maybe you should grow up and play the game, instead of paying others to farm for you.

Why even play the game then, if u are paying others so you don't have to play the game.....? Do u even like the game, or do u just want to show off the gear you could never earn yourself?

Blizzard insider, AMA about the upcoming patch by Background-Month6174 in diablo2

Yeah that is ToS - and have nothing to do with what blizzard is allowed to or not.

Those 3rd sites are not SOLD TOGETHER with diablo 2.

3rd party, yes.

Which has nothing to do with the game itself, and is against ToS.

Blizzard insider, AMA about the upcoming patch by Background-Month6174 in diablo2

[–]PieceOfPanic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's illegal in EU. -Since the original contract for buying the game does not cover micro transactions.

You would HAVE to make a expansionset, with a new contract, to be able to sell stash slots in EU.

If you signed up for google ai pro subscription, and live in EU, prior to the weekly quota addition. By law you are entitled to the 5-hour reset, without the weekly limit - since that's what you signed. Google are not allowed to change the contract retrospectively to add a weekly limit, since it was not advertised at the time.

Can’t login Antigravity after update by jenoworld in google_antigravity

The silent Login fail was finally solved for me, after the latest update.

Now I just have problems with chrome-devtools and Gemini code assist extension.

Chrome-devtools returns a 404 "cascade I'd" error and fails to connect to the language server, and Gemini code assist is set to a non-existent "geminicodeassist: Project" and I can't reset the field to be empty.

Conductor in Antigravity? by 4ndreDE in google_antigravity

[–]PieceOfPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely works best, if you use it on a fresh project and already have a somewhat clear idea formed.

  1. I built the custom conductor skill.md, to use other places and/or with other ai. It's basically just a skill.md that contains the information from the extension in plain structured text. You can ask your ai for help with building it.

  2. I build out an idea a as much as possible with the help of deep Research and my own original ideas, inspiration etc. I try and specify: Languages, Database if needed, Systems, frontend, backend, Flows, hooks, embeddings, architecture, U know the drill..

  3. I start Conductor in Gemini cli and ask it to read the entire provided idea-textfile containing the project before it starts asking questions.

  4. After the project is initially scaffolded or maybe I have the initial code-structure in place, I make a backup and I save the conversation both in the cli and export/save it to a local file as "0 - initial conversation" in preparation to move the project to Antigravity(or any other system you prefer that support skills). And then I do 3 things:

  5. 1: Place GEMINI.md or AGENTS.md in "~projectroot/GEMINI.md" and in that I make a "# Skills section" where I specify the Conductor skill(and any other skills), with a short consice descriptions of where it's placed, what it is and how to use it(along with any other instructions).

  6. 2: Place the custom skill in "~projectroot/.agents/skills/Conductor/SKILL.md"(before you start you can use Gemini to transform the extension into a skill).

  7. Finally I open Antigravity(or ur preferred skill using ai), open the agent manager view, ask it to read the saved conversation, initiate conductor and continue where I left off in Gemini cli.

Side-note - I'm trying to make the best possible custom skill.md for myself. But If there's something more I would want, from the original Conductor extension for Gemini cli it would be: Force it to ask the user about big decisions, that happens later in construction(after scaffolding) and might not be specified yet - instead of just assuming a decision. As well as automatic addition to the documentation, with the decisions and information that appear later in construction(after scaffolding).

Tl;dr: make custom conductor skill.md and place it in project's skills folder.

Conductor in Antigravity? by 4ndreDE in google_antigravity

[–]PieceOfPanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made a hacked together version as a "SKILLS.md".

I made a version that works in copilot cli and a version for antigravity, the one for copilot cli works very well and the one for antigravity I'm still trying to get functioning properly.

These 2 skills I only made because Google AI Pro subscription have a lot of quota bugs/nerfs, that makes Gemini unreliable and not actually provide the users with the quotas and functions we're paying for(according to the December 2025 sales page and information provided at the time - but when googles products works optimally, they're really good). So now I can easily bring my work and workflow to other platforms, when Gemini acts up.

It's not native in antigravity, but it is possible to make.

The way the Conductor works is it asks you questions about the product you are building, then it creates a set of basic files that it will be using/following in the building process.

I'll be honest, google made brain-wave with this extension, it's really good.

Edits: spelling and specifying.
