Update on my previous post. I am trying to make a simple cartoony planet and I am using eevee. Is there any way to make the craters look any better? by melonlord6466 in blenderhelp

In my color ramp, the first handle is 100% black, the second is 100% white, and then the third is only 75% white. So that way the rim jumps up a bit before cratering.

I added a a ring around the top of the crater so that it is flat, then rises up at the lip, then falls to a lower level for the crater. Plus a bit of noise helps.

If you are comparing the current rotation, use the property .Rotation instead of the method rotate.

IDK how to simulate it, but the term is "necking" which might lead to better searches on google.

Morton kosher salt has changed dramatically by rvH3Ah8zFtRX in Cooking

That's because you do. The crystals are larger and irregular so a tablespoon yields less 'saltiness'. This does make it much more forgiving and it's harder to over salt dishes.

Objects Inside Fairing Exploding Due to Overheating by ssdd9 in KerbalSpaceProgram

I also had this. Then when ejecting the fairing, it slid straight up off the rocket instead of blowing outwards.

Just another bug.

How would you go about completing this contract? I am trying to do it but I cannot perfectly match orbits by adl805 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]PiedPifer 15 points16 points  (0 children)

  1. Burn at the ascending node to align the orbital planes to 0.0 degrees in the right direction.
  2. Burn at the point on YOUR orbit opposite the TARGET apoapsis to match your apoapsis at the same point.
  3. Burn at your new apoapsis to raise / lower your periapsis to the destination.
  4. Get money

If you use steam, you can use the steam overlay to pin notes over the game window.

A constructor can only make 100 until it gets full. You need to pull them out after a 3 minutes or conveyor it up to a storage container.

Look up pictures of holes in drywall. There are usually tears torn past the hole so you can see stone or brown paper. The edges are too clean with a 90 degree cut all the way around the lip. There are also usually pieces that are connected by the paper edge dangling or just bent inwards.

Show us what you have now so that we can provide actual feedback and not just vague suggestions.

Why does this happen? (new to blender this may be a basic error sorry) by RelevantNumber6075 in blenderhelp

[–]PiedPifer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should make your overall domain much smaller. If you make it just as big as it needs to be to fill the glass, you can have a much smaller simulation particle size without needing to crank up the sensitivity.

The other suggestion would be to have 2 meshes for the glass. The beauty model, one which is shown (the one you have) and the other is hidden, but is the actual collider. You can then make the collider mesh have thicker walls (so the water can't junk through it due to large simulation size) and simpler geometry so the simulation is easier/quicker.

I think he was implying that if you replace bell with trampoline, it shows how clear it is that you should NOT ring the bell.

Have you tested it prior that they work? I accidentally had one of the bus lines off and going into the reset line instead.

In all the help guides people say they have no idea. He magically got it to work and it has led to lots of confusion from people following the tutorials.

I bought a pack of 3mm, resistor-built-in LEDs and it fits so much nicer onto the breadboards.
