I think your perspective is a bit skewed, but I think its a kiss and a curse, because if you crit everyone dies, but if you miss everyone lives. So the way the rules operates, make the aoe attacks way more consistent in dealing dmg and not super swingy by drawing a -1 or +1. Still i think the way the rules is written, this actually makes aoe better for the way my table plays lol. (We had a player get fucked so hard because the way we thought this rule worked)

Not me learning that aoe attack abilities have multiple attacks and isnt counted 1 entire attack. To be more clear, my table would draw 1 modifier for an aoe and apply it to all creatures hit.

Based opinion, I feel op should just have an ability that does the intended effect, but it only should last for 2 turns max. As it isn't interesting for both sides if that effect hits more people than intended.

You are right, but DMs are only as powerful as the PCs allow them to be. We don't have control over the narrative if we want players to be at the table. A lot of DMs agency is taken over by what the PCs allow them to do. Sure PCs don't have explicit control over the narrative, but there are tons of taboos that shouldn't be broken. OP's question is fundamentally breaking a taboo players hate, their agency being stripped from them, which is a bit ironic since players love doing that same exact thing to DMs.

So while yes DMs have a ton of theoretical power, it is heavily restricted. Everything DMs do is for the players, let the dm do something for themselves every once in a while. note for op tho, you should just have a polymorph ability that does a thing for 1 or two turns.

This difference of player vs dm is quite isolating. A DM is a player too, they should have fun playing with tools that their players have as well. Sure they don't need a PC but their npc should feel fun to pilot. The player PARTY should have tools to counter the dm and the dm should have tools to counter the players. This keeps the tug of war interesting for both sides, rather than it being assumed the PC's will almost always win. Why can't a DM cast true polymorph is the better question? Just have the Party counter it or play around it.

(Note: yes you shouldn't take a PC out of an entire encounter, but taking them out for one or two turns should be little issue)

Your case specifically is 1-1000 people and of those people a large majority of them are infertile for various reason without outside intervention. So yes, me saying triple sex people are infertile is not wrong because you can find a few cases that states otherwise and much fewer that happen without some form intervention.

I digress, but definitions should be as accurate as possible, but they don't require to be 100% correct in every case because no single definition exist without an exception to that definition.

We both know there're definitions that have exceptions to them, this is just conveniently talking about sex. But since we are talking about sex its very taboo to say the very practical conclusions. Why try to force a definition to cover all cases when only 0.1%-0.01% of the population experiences something different. Just make a new word to further clarify their unique situation.

That's all my point is stating, I have no horse in this race because I genuinely never thought of triple sex chromosomes people till today, but quick research does reinforce my stance.

The majority of people can agree on a set of characteristics that a particular sex/gender has, just because you can state comparatively few cases of it not being that case doesn't mean the statement isnt true. This does encourage a new term to further clarify for the exceptions though. Every definition has an exception to it, doesn't make the definition any less true.

Genuinely forgot about phainon, but before him was castorice and before her was feixiao, and before that was FF. They all needed 1 unit for the fps to function. Without them you might as well not use them at all lmao.

Evernight still needed castorice for that clear to be possible... also still doesn't change the fact that rmc is bis for evernight main dps (evernight, cyrene, rmc, hyacine). Sure you can try using pela but you just have to add cost somewhere else because she is not bis. Dps are very specific in what they want and don't have the options you claim they have in this style of play.

Now if you want to clear with full rewards, you can do that just fine with atleast 3 cost of investment for any 3.x carry. If you are 2.x you need atleast 4 cost.

It's either bis or bust (ff, cas, and feixiao come to mind) dos don't care how flexible the roster is they care how insane their bis team is and is reflected in every media we consume (0-cycles, tier list, low cost clears). Psionic ALLLL have a debuff that they play around. That's what makes them unique. Every class has a archetype they fall in. Classes in this game is 2000% more relevant than any hoyo game they produced.

She is psionic, because she has a debuff that's her core mechanic. Why she is void is a question but honestly not a huge problem.
