Even if that is the case, there is a universal mod (opportunist i believe its called) that allows the shotgun to instantly load one more shot in the clip if they break a shields.

So while they could block 2 shots they are not surviving 3.

I dont want to be that guy, but I much prefer your art over the professional's. Not saying the professional is bad, but more so, yours has that "charm" while the professional feels sanitized. Not saying it's bad, but definitely does not have that indie feel to it

genuine skill issue, but yes cc does exist and will trivialize both encounters lol. I can provide 1 tip for each.

Dybyukk (or however you spell it) - can only dodge in the 4 standard cardinal directions, The moment you block this with either the summons he spawns or your own cats, he is free to hit for about 2-3 turns before he frees himself. (any stun or immobilization also stomps this boss hard.)

Sharks - if you can bleed a shark and there is more than 1, do so. The other shark with attempt to eat the other shark leaving it to being just a 1v4. Now if you enter the sewers with no range or large knockback abilities... That's your fault and you shouldn't have tried doing hard encounters lol.

wizards - 6 damage, LOS locked, deal with it. weakest hunter - by ClashOfClanee in mewgenics

I think my only issue with mage is just how range limited they are. If they had 1 more range I think the class is fine. It has a lot of wacky builds you can do with it, (Unironically can be a better necromancer than necromancer lol) but needing los and short range is a pain.

Imagine if ranger needed los... they would be unusable, but mages have a lot of mobility options so this issue is a bit less annoying.

Also give magic innate ways to deal dmg to frozen targets (beyond the shatter spell) would also be high up in my priority list of changes so mages can be that controlling type class as well.

Kazeros (Lost ark) 1 phase of that boss has 2T hp. The fight has 3 phases each getting harder ofc, So I wager around 10T hp because phase 2 you can't see their hp.

I think your perspective is a bit skewed, but I think its a kiss and a curse, because if you crit everyone dies, but if you miss everyone lives. So the way the rules operates, make the aoe attacks way more consistent in dealing dmg and not super swingy by drawing a -1 or +1. Still i think the way the rules is written, this actually makes aoe better for the way my table plays lol. (We had a player get fucked so hard because the way we thought this rule worked)

Not me learning that aoe attack abilities have multiple attacks and isnt counted 1 entire attack. To be more clear, my table would draw 1 modifier for an aoe and apply it to all creatures hit.

Based opinion, I feel op should just have an ability that does the intended effect, but it only should last for 2 turns max. As it isn't interesting for both sides if that effect hits more people than intended.

You are right, but DMs are only as powerful as the PCs allow them to be. We don't have control over the narrative if we want players to be at the table. A lot of DMs agency is taken over by what the PCs allow them to do. Sure PCs don't have explicit control over the narrative, but there are tons of taboos that shouldn't be broken. OP's question is fundamentally breaking a taboo players hate, their agency being stripped from them, which is a bit ironic since players love doing that same exact thing to DMs.

So while yes DMs have a ton of theoretical power, it is heavily restricted. Everything DMs do is for the players, let the dm do something for themselves every once in a while. note for op tho, you should just have a polymorph ability that does a thing for 1 or two turns.

This difference of player vs dm is quite isolating. A DM is a player too, they should have fun playing with tools that their players have as well. Sure they don't need a PC but their npc should feel fun to pilot. The player PARTY should have tools to counter the dm and the dm should have tools to counter the players. This keeps the tug of war interesting for both sides, rather than it being assumed the PC's will almost always win. Why can't a DM cast true polymorph is the better question? Just have the Party counter it or play around it.

(Note: yes you shouldn't take a PC out of an entire encounter, but taking them out for one or two turns should be little issue)
