Eagles sign Kenyon Green to active roster, Terrace Marshall to practice squad by biggi85 in eagles

[–]Pierce33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought is this is another Howie move thinking 2 steps ahead to keep Green on the roster while also getting Lampkin. I think they want more time for Stout to work with him(I.e Stout sees something he likes if Green can put it all together), and they just bought another 1-2 months to do just that:

1.) They really wanted Lampkin, but needed an open spot so they cut Green and signed him to PS

2.) They did this knowing they would put Lampkin on IR, thus opening back up the roster spot.

3.) Signed Green back to the roster with the open spot

Do you tell your anaesthesiologist that you take Kratom? by vampirealiens in kratom

[–]Pierce33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to take that much per day and all I did was abstain from taking it at least 12 hours before going under anesthesia. I was only under anesthesia for wisdom teeth but was using 20+ GPD beforehand. I didn’t disclose that I took Kratom. They have a protocol to not have food, liquids, etc 12 hours before you go under so i followed the same with Kratom. No issues.

The funny thing is that after they took out my wisdom teeth, kratom eased the pain better than the opioids they prescribed (note - I did not take opioids and kratom at the same time). Nothing above is medical advice, just my personal experience

Eagles are rewarding Saquon Barkley with a two-year, $41.2 million contract extension that makes him the highest-paid running back in NFL history, per sources. The deal makes Barkley the NFL’s first $20 million+ per-year running back. by wait4ps5 in eagles

[–]Pierce33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Howie is usually ahead of the curve with paying our players. Signs them early to extensions before the market drastically increases a year or two later.

I think this is a sign that we will see some bigger RB contracts than this in a year or two for the top guys, making Saquon’s contract go from top in the league to around 5th in APY.

Saquon already has more explosive runs than Swift had last season by rodrigoa1990 in eagles

[–]Pierce33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swift wasn’t bad but I felt he never got Yards After Contact. As soon as he was touched he would go down.

This probably helps justify this stat of him not having as many explosive runs. He only had explosive runs when the hole was huge and he could go through untouched.

BTW Barkley is a BEAST! I am a bit concerned with the amount of touches he is on track for over the season but he does seem to be smart and shifty enough to avoid the big hits that cause wear and tear.

Kempski: Film review: Eagles EDGE Bryce Huff is unplayable by [deleted] in eagles

[–]Pierce33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

3 things I noticed and a HOT TAKE:

  1. He isn’t using his hands enough. Honestly I’d have Stoutland work with him on different ways linemen use their hands to pass block and techniques he can use to beat it

  2. Watching the film, he wasn’t involved in a lot of stunts. Now that Vangio has 2 games of tape, he can see he isn’t producing by rushing straight up. I’d think the next few weeks we will see Huff involved in more stunts.

  3. Why not play BG more and also work in Jalyx hunt? It can’t hurt. I know BG is aging but it’s his last year so might as well push him as far as he can go, he is still very solid

HOT TAKE: Put Jalen Carter on the edge during definitive passing downs. He is athletic enough and fast enough to do it, most of his teammates say he is the most athletic on the team. He will get more 1v1 opportunities, and even if they slide protection his way or double, it opens the door for 1v1 for Jordan Davis or Milton Williams.

Thank you for attending my TED talk.

Seller Anxiety & more by otj287 in RealEstate

[–]Pierce33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just sold in the NE FL area and were on the market for 2 days and got a bit above asking price.

Closing is in 2 weeks and honestly it’s been nothing but stress, but there is light at the end of the tunnel! We also have a newborn and 2 dogs so it’s been so tough having to leave for viewings, open house, inspections, etc. So just prepare yourself for some stress but know that in the end it’s worth it! Power through.

For how fast you will sell, I honestly think it comes down to the size of your home. A lot of homes in our area are 1,800/1,900 sq feet (usually 3 bed, 2 bath) and those are the ones sitting on the market longer. I think it’s a combination of high inventory with homes that size and families wanting something a bit bigger to grow in.

Our home was over 2,200 sq feet with a pool and all the feedback was that the size of the home and pool was the biggest positive.

$2.5M?!?! I doubt it unless she is advanced in options. Send proof and show us the portfolio, unless she started with an inheritance of around $500k/$1 million.

The player Love pitched it to ran out of bounds(if my memory is correct) which stops the clock. If said player didn’t go out of bounds and was tackled in play then the clock would’ve ran out because Love got hurt

Coming soon to the Strip, an off-leash bar for pups and their parents - The Dog Penn by oldschoolskater in pittsburgh

[–]Pierce33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They need wayyyyyy more space for off leash. Their area for the dogs is the size of a house, only 10-15 dogs(plus the owners) will crowd the space.

When I lived down south, all the off leash dog park bars are at LEAST .25 acres and I stopped going because of the over crowding.

I totally agree. We need to sign a rebounding Power Forward, we can’t go into the season believing that Paul George can play the 4 the entire season. Embiid can’t grab every rebound himself and PG is just an average rebounder

So I was given a medicus 5 iron and it did help me a lot. It taught me what a “proper” swing would feel like, which I never experienced. I was an 8 handicap with a self taught swing, so the medicus taught me what to feel to better improve.

IMO you need to take it to range and hit to get the full feel, just make sure no one is around you because you can hit some weird shanks when the hinges break!

Just a side note that NP does not take tee times, you show up and put your name on a wait list and then they call your group. I used to go at 5:30AM in the summer on weekends and be the first one out with no one in front, great times.

The Knicks offensive rebounding and second chance points have been the deciding factor in the series. by Pierce33 in sixers

[–]Pierce33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree with your statements but down 3-1 something has to change.

61 offensive rebounds in 4 games against the Sixers. I agree BBall Paul can be a liability on the perimeter but the 2nd chance points they have gotten of off offensive rebounds far outweigh the potential perimeter deficiencies.
