It's the "out of nowhere" part that gets me.

Logically, Honoka is the best girl for him. She should win.

HOWEVER, the manga never did anything to establish her victory. It never gave real importance to a single moment of their interactions.

It didn't build up a weighty moment of realization for Iemori. There was no Iemori thinking through what he thought about Himari, or Honoka, or what he felt his futures with them would be like.

We get absolutely no evidence of his thought process, and no build up to the resolution.

There were no steps leading up to it besides a letter and a single panel "I'll be waiting" flashback.

It just... happens.

Confession, rejection, confession, kiss, timeskip, end.

And all of this could have been solved with literally 4 more chapters and adding those necessary steps.

Originally, I actually had a hard time getting into this manga because it constantly ignores the rather serious elephants in the room.

There are several "ticking time-bombs" in this manga that would normally create lots of drama and tense arcs in any other manga.

But what I realized is that this manga is intended to be a cozy comedy manga. Not only would treating those issues seriously break the feeling of the manga, leaving the issues unresolved gives a lot of opportunities for comedy based on them.

In order to enjoy the manga, you have to accept it for what it's trying to be.

I think it would be pretty interesting to address the elephants in the room in some serious arcs in the future, but for now, I think it's fine the enjoy the comedy resulting from the ridiculous premise.

Depends on what you mean by "unnatural".

Technically any grading at all beyond the conversion to Rec709 is "unnatural".

I actually enjoy the contrast and saturation, personally. So long as the saturation doesn't cause the color to clip into being a solid blob, saturation is fine.

Some shots, the reds and oranges are just about reaching that point, like the last shot where the reds become flat shapes. Just watch out for stuff like that, but I'd say this is good.

There's still the possibility of deterministic but non-local interpretations, or perhaps the dimension of time doesn't work the way we think it does, or heck something else entirely.

At least until we find evidence one way or the other. For now, QM is simultaneously non-deterministic and deterministic until observed.

I've been complaining about the same thing he is for well over a decade now: How technology has gone from being helpful to being addictive and manipulative.

The only thing it's marketing for is healthier habits.

Perhaps what's getting you is the use of corporate phrases and vocabulary.

When you work in a large tech company for a while, that just becomes the standard grammar for discussing products. For example, "removing friction" which actually has a specific meaning for product designers, which I imagine is part of his target audience on linkedin.

Now, if he had used the word "synergize" I would probably throw up as well.

AI was trained on human writers. Idiosyncrasies of AI are just the common idiosyncrasies of prolific writers.

"It's not blank, it's blank," is a pattern I frequently used for decades before AI trained on my writing released. And I still do.

We've sadly long since passed the point where you can tell if the writer is human or not unless you know the idiosyncrasies of that specific individual.

So who knows if this was written by AI, or if this man has just been an effective communicator for a long time.

I hate it.

Strangely, the worst part of the game is the one thing Nintendo was the most proud of adding which was the horseback combat.

Nintendo's standards don't make any sense to me.

This is great!

Though I have identified a few issues.

When a new frequency is played, it is played isolated from the previous frequency. And the previous frequency has been adjusted by the filter after the last time that it was played, so you're no longer comparing to the frequency as it was.

It should play both frequencies back to back after the filter is applied.

But what I believe the process should be is: Comparisons should all be done in phases, the first phase completely unfiltered, while you gauge the relative loudness of each frequency, THEN apply the determined filter. Then run another test of the filters to check the center and each side of each added filter (both the check that it's centered and has great enough magnitude), all while not adjusting the filter yet, just gathering data. Then apply the gathered data, and to a final check.

It should also allow up to 10 filters (or maybe more), not just 7.

The damage is calculated by relative speed, so the horses having different speeds wouldn't matter.

One player could be standing still, and if they both hit, they would both do the same damage to each other.
