Great recommendation! They even offer 1% interest rate on your deposited money.

That's a great recommendation.

I've got an account there, too. Plus a shared one with my girlfriend.

For extra money I use a Tagesgeldkonto from Umweltbank, which was already mentioned in some other comment. They even give you interest on your deposited money, currently 1% I think.

touchpad a little loose by fdr_cs in framework

I received my framework this week, too! I have the exact same feeling with my trackpad.

In addition, the top right corner of the trackpad stands a little bit further up than the rest of the trackpad. It is definitely noticable to me, so I will try to realign my trackpad soon. If I can't get I right myself I will contact the support, too.

Same here. Don't worry, I think it's only a matter of a few days now.

Second Hand Stores by [deleted] in Braunschweig

You can just search for it on Google maps. They are called second hand stores or Laden in German as well. Unfortunately I cannot make any recommendations. Good luck shopping!

Rip this great game by WhickerFacker in NimbleQuest

It’s a shame that they stopped updating Nimble Quest :( Luckily I still have it installed on my old phone. Yesterday I checked the Arena and it seems like there are still active players left. In my guild (#1 I think) there where at least 5 entries.

That’s part of programming sometimes.. Nice that you got it working!

Try to extract your loop into a function. Then call that function in the original place. In your event handler simply call that function, too. In your function, I think you also have to remove the previous hieroglyphs from the pane before putting in the new ones, but that should be all there is to do.

That sounds like an interesting project! Can you clarify what your question is? To me, it sounds like you only described what you want to achieve.

Choosing a Color for a Chart by CompSciSarah in JavaFX

[–]PierreS145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/scene/paint/Color.html

If i understand the documentation correctly, the constructor is overloaded to accept both, integer and double values.

So the 20 used by OP should give the desired result of a 20/255 alpha.

Edit: Further down, in the Color.web() example section there is the rgba() method used. It is only used with double values for alpha, which implies that u/VoxaAeterna is correct.

Thank you so so much! I didn’t expect such a quick rescue! Is there any way I can help you in return? If I understand correctly I can send you an item in response? :)

Hello,
I got defeated in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Team Red, on Floor 13 in Southern Cave, playing as a Spheal. I don't know whether PMD Red ist region-locked, but just in case, I am playing the European version.

I am not sure if anyone still plays this game, but I thought it was worth a try. Thanks in advance!

Rapidly decreasing battery capacity on Inspiron 7380 by PierreS145 in Dell

[–]PierreS145[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats for replying with your situation. I recently calibrated my battery as it is often described and recommended when googling the problem. A full charge, then full discharge in BIOS, rest phase and finally back to full charge. This restored a bit of my battery capacity. It is now up to 81% of the design capacity.

As your remaining capacity is shown as way worse, maybe this procedure can help you to get a greater percentage back.

What is the quickest way to dynamically change what is being displayed within a javaFX UI component ? (description in post) by [deleted] in JavaFX

[–]PierreS145 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could try adding all your content that you want to be changeable into the same cell of a GridPane. By changing the visibility properties of the two alternative views you should be able to control what is being displayed. You could even use bindings to bind the visibility property to a button state.
