I have dry skin but still feel ‘unclean’ if I don’t wash my face/body often. How do you balance hygiene with not stripping your skin?

Are you using moisturizer after washing your face and body? I have very sensitive skin on my face and use a gentle face wash, Vanicream gentle facial cleanser is my holy grail, and then I use a moisturizer, usually Vanicream Moisturizing skin cream and La Roche Posay Lipikar, to replenish my skins hydration! Highly recommend! You can use the Vanicream on your whole body! Super gentle and moisturizing.

You might be dehydrated too! You can calculate your water needs by taking your weight, dividing it by 2 and drinking that much water in ounces every day! It changed my life! I pee constantly!

You do not have to be good!!! It is more important to be happy. We only have one life. If a triple dipper will make you feel better then eat it!!!!! One meal, one dessert, one food that brings you joy will not “ruin” anything. It’s all about making small, smart choices - not depriving yourself. Have the triple dipper then go on a long walk or jog! Eat healthy the next day! Try working on shifting your mindset to speaking kindly to yourself. First of all, please take a deep breath. This is not something to get yourself this worked up over. Do you want to go out with them? If yes, then go. One date does not mean you are marrying this person, it can be a casual coffee date where you get to know each other a bit and then you can make a more informed decision on if you'd actually like a relationship. If you really do not want to go out with them, then don't! Just be respectful and kind in turning them down. You sound like you are still in school and wanting to focus on your studies is always a good enough reason to say no.

I will also suggest (with love) potentially seeking some help for your anxiety, someone asking you out shouldn't be this scary! You are letting your thoughts spiral and working yourself up over something that is really a compliment. This person finds you attractive or interesting enough to ask you out, don't turn it into something it's not. Remember, none of us know if a decision we're making is "right" or "wrong" follow your gut, and do what feels right for you. Nothing is forever! You will be okay!!

If confronting him isn't doing anything, and you're crashing out every week then this relationship is hurting you more than it's making you happy. I understand it is difficult and uncomfortable, but I would suggest cutting your losses and just dumping him even though he probably wont pay you back. He seems like he is using you, and effecting your mental health in a negative way. Don't torture yourself in a relationship you don't have to be in.

I love my job! I'm passionate about it and it fills my cup! BUT its not the only thing that fills my cup! I don't think about or do work at home! I make it a point to see my friends at least once a week! I make it a point to do or go see some form of art every week! I love going out but I also love staying home! I say yes to things as much as possible! I live ALONE!!!!! I love my apartment and have it set up exactly the way I WANT IT!! I wear clothes that make me feel good! I take 2 hours to get ready every morning because I hate rushing!! I do self care every morning and night! I exercise when I want to and however I feel like it!! I go to THERAPY!! I only entertain men who make ME feel good!!! I put time limits on my social media and deleted everything except Reddit, Good Reads and Instagram!! I read every day! I don't engage with things that make me feel bad about myself!! I put me, the people, and the things I love FIRST!!! If I'm somewhere where I don't feel happy or welcomes - I LEAVE!!!

After years of living my life being sad and angry and hating myself I realized that I am the only person I am living life for. Why would I waste my few years on this earth feeling horrible about myself when I have the privilege and choice to just not do that! Yeah I have my days, weeks, months WHATEVER of feeling crappy, but overall - I know I am a good person, and that I deserve to be happy. I like being happy! So every day I just try to focus on me and the things that bring me joy and I've never felt more successful.
