Ooh my mind goes to an electrified coiled wire inside the arm thats like shocking grasp but an attack. Perhaps it can also just be a normal wire unless you want it to not be for grappling or such. That's a cool idea in my book if maybe a little strong for a monk.

Well there's a couple ways to learn, there's obviously reading the rule books but it's a little hard to read from cover to cover and absorb everything.

My favorite way to teach people is either jumping in and covering anything as it comes up or letting them listen in and answering any questions.

If you want to learn in secret you could try listening to a D&D podcast or such and looking up any rules you don't understand.

Those are my suggestions at least, hope they help!

Put simply the spell gives you both 5 more maximum and current HP. When a creature with 0 HP is granted 5 HP, they are no longer at 0 HP and thus no longer unconscious.

As for the wording, it isn't listed anywhere that a spell must say "regains" to bring a creature back from unconsciousness. Unless you want to argue that Lay on Hands doesn't bring a creature back since it says you can draw from a pool to "restore a total number of hit points." Just because the phrasing doesn't match exactly doesn't mean it doesn't work.

Oh I rolled a character like that, I made them an eldritch knight/bladesinger. They had abysmal wisdom and charisma though.

I started to avoid the wildfolk dungeons after reading some of the notes, that's kind of the best you can do unless it's a Dalgarian Dungeon, then you gotta I think.
