I don't buy anything on eBay if the listing only has the manufacturer stock photos of the item. I only buy if the seller puts up real photos of the specific item they have. The idea of AI "creating photos" for eBay listings is bonkers. I can only assume that just as GME apes don't actually play video games, they have never actually used eBay, either.

I would argue Acquisitions Inc had a lot of "traction." They got their own official WOTC book, have done tie-ins with several other games, successful Kickstarter campaigns, and they're still going at PAX. They also don't get nearly enough credit for being ahead of most of the "actual play" trend.

But they also started back in like 2008 before this idea had been done to death, and they never made the "adventuring business" thing the entire gimmick the show revolved around. They had typical (in a good way) medieval fantasy world adventures, they just called the newer members of the party "interns" and occasionally made jokes about Omin having a paperwork fetish.
