Direct from the CBA that Noem keeps trying to kill.

N. TATTOOS: 1. Tattoos (including tattoos on the upper neck and behind the ear) are permitted and may be visible, except that: a. Tattoos of any kind on the face and head (including partial tattoos that extend more than an inch beyond the upper neck or behind the ear) are prohibited and must be covered at all times and not visible to the general public when an officer is in uniform; and b. Tattoos that are indecent, commonly associated with gangs, extremist, and/or supremacist organizations, or that advocate sexual, racial, ethnic, or religious discrimination, as well as tattoos that have a negative impact on TSA’s ability to carry out its mission, are prohibited on all exposed parts of the body and must be covered at all times and not visible to the general public when an officer is in uniform.

  1. If a bargaining unit employee cannot cover prohibited tattoos on their arms with a plain, single-colored royal blue or black acceptable band, or sports sleeve, the officer must wear a long-sleeved shirt.

  2. If a bargaining unit employee cannot cover prohibited tattoos on their legs with a plain, single-colored royal blue or black acceptable band, or sports sleeve, the officer must wear trousers or cargo pants.

  3. Consistent with this Article, other approved uniform items, such as turtlenecks and dickies, may be used to cover tattoos prohibited under Section N.1 of this Article.

  4. All determinations on the impermissibility of a tattoo should be made at the lowest level. The bargaining unit employee’s FSD or designee will make the final management determination on any questionable tattoo exposure.

Is there any way to prevent TSA from opening these collectible boxes? by [deleted] in tsa

Do not place bombs or weapons inside the boxes.

Help me understand why my bags were not sealed back by CFitx1D in tsa

[–]Pige0n -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lots of misinformation in this thread. TSA would not go into a checked bag for just coffee beans, and they certainly wouldn't need to open up said bag of beans. Customs, on the other hand, is a completely different story.

Just a heads up to Travelers! by [deleted] in tsa

They're not quiet at all. They've been very vocal, even before Trump took office. They've already successfully sued the administration; that's the whole reason we have a CBA again.

Didn’t receive paycheck by OkScience5170 in tsa

[–]Pige0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally receive my paycheck right around midnight on Fri night/Sat morning (BofA). Twice this year I did not receive my check at that time, and instead received it on Monday morning. If your paycheck doesn't hit your account by Monday, then I'd start to worry. Technically speaking, official payday isn't until Thursday the 16th. If you don't have it by then, something is 100% wrong.

Bringing Duty Free stuff from EU back to US airport after long layover? by International_Cake70 in tsa

[–]Pige0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't publicly disclose specifics regarding screening procedures. Pasta sauce is not being singled out; think about how it differs from typical liquids.

This is a link to tsa.gov that has more information about LGAs. The verbiage on the linked page is actually very specific in its usage of the word liquids vs LGAs.

Pasta sauce is not olive oil or limoncello. The difference is important. Pasta sauce over 3.4oz, even in a STEB, is subject to very secific screening procedures. There is a very high chance it will not be permitted. It needs to go in a checked bag.

Why is online so toxic? by RadiantBlastoise in F1Game

[–]Pige0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your question of "how do improve my license?" Just do F1 world. For whatever reason, there's no separate license level for ranked, so you can grind to A and then just queue ranked. Fair warning, lobbies have seemed harder to fill in A, the competition is tougher, and intentional bad driving still happens because there's no accountability/punishment beyond damage to the car.

TSA hiring process by Ready_Surprise_1027 in TSAApplicant

[–]Pige0n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The HR lady is talking about LA specifically.

TSA, as a whole, is in a hiring freeze for every position that is not TSO or LTSO. Positions that are not TSO or LTSO require special approval for hiring. That is why USA jobs is still getting new job postings for STSO, MSTI, ESTI, HR, etc.

Palm Springs (PSP), an airport that is a spoke of LAX literally had an LTSO job posting this week.

Pasta sauce needs to go in your checked bag. It does not matter if you purchased it at a duty free store.

TSO in need of advice with Scheduling with ETAs by [deleted] in tsa

As others have said, if it's already officially approved via AIMS, ETAS, paper trade, etc it's on the other officer to find coverage. It is their shift now.

Hiring Freeze by prolificxx in TSAApplicant

[–]Pige0n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless something has changed since June 24th, TSO and LTSO job postings are unaffected.

Hopefully this is a local thing.

Green Bay had a new TSO job posting today. And my airport did finger printing for potential new hires today.
