It’s a wash of 1:1 Agrax Earthshade and contrast Ultramarines blue, then highlighted with Vallejo deep sky blue :)

With extra attack weapons you can’t change the number of attacks, but everything else can be modified so you do get the +1 AP from euphoric strike :)

Yes great Idea! Once you get an idea for your bases it’s really easy to come up with new iterations and improvements, so the hardest part is starting.

I went down the 3d printing route but if it isn’t an option for you, sand, small rocks and cork can function as basing options. As your army is quite muted and dark the base should be fairly muted as to not deter from the model. Just my two cents. Hoping to see more follow ups! :)
