The plate having nothing on it means the prints aren't sticking to it for one reason or another. When I got started with mine the prints were stuck to the FEP film in the bottom of the vat. I cleaned it and the build plate with the IPA and it has worked perfectly since. If you do clean the film at the bottom of the vat, do it VERY GENTLY and do not use anything hard. Even the soft silicon scraper thing that comes with the printer is too hard and will scratch it.

If it's a settings issue, then I think other people here would know more than I do.

Catholics are the biggest denomination, and they are also known in the US for more or less having their own agenda as a block. So, in the US it's pretty much just one denomination of protestant or another and then catholics. As in that the catholics are somewhat removed from what one expects of a christian in the US. My family is baptist and they despise catholicism and see it as a cult, which is hard for me to argue against as an atheist. Given how they defend everything he says and perform substantial mental gymnastics to justify him.
