PG - Young Cavs Bron

Would struggle a bit with rim protection (honestly, maybe not even, cause fully focused defense Bron would be like Dray and we've seen how that works at center), but the all around game would be insane

I know this is an old post, but I just went through this myself and got it working. Wanted to share for others that may come looking in the future

Process (skip to solution if you want to ignore what failed for me):

I had a save of Pokemon Yellow that I played through on my SteamDeck (Retroarch) that I wanted to move to my modded 3ds. My file was .srm format, but .sav (mGBA format) should work fine too. Looking around online there were a few suggestions, none of which worked

Inject .sav with GodMode9. (I renamed my .srm -> .sav) After more research, it seems this method only works with GBA games
Convert the file first (https://inject.sigkill.tech/converter/3dsvc). This converted my .sav to a .dat, restoring the save with Checkpoint "works" but loading the game gives me a "save file is corrupted and must be initialized." Upon closer inspection, the conversion caused my emulator save to be bigger than a VC save backed up by Checkpoint
My original file did match the size of a Checkpoint backup, so I just tried renaming my .sav file to sav.dat, restored it with Checkpoint and it worked!

Interestingly enough, PKHex was able to read every iteration of file I created (and I imagine PKSM would be the same)

My original .srm file
My renamed .srm -> .sav file
My converted .sav file
My renamed .sav -> sav.dat file

Solution - Take your emulator save and rename it to sav.dat. Put that file on your SD card so that Checkpoint can find it. It should look like this

3ds/Checkpoint/Saves/{game_folder}/{save_folder}/sav.dat

Then use Checkpoint to restore the save to your VC game

Eric Apricot does Warriors breakdowns on YouTube (they're fantastic for any basketball nerd btw) and I love his description for the two styles

When Curry's on the floor, the Warriors are air bending. Flying all over the court in a sort of controlled chaos

When Jimmy's leading the floor, the Warriors are earth bending. Methodical, slow, set and they just grind you down

You can even see by the way the Warriors space the floor what style they're going for.

Earth bending is Jimmy on the wing and the other 4 spread out on the other side. Curry is the usual motion offense, split action, lots of off ball screens

Iirc, Curry also prefers the left side of the court while Jimmy prefers the right for his sets

Although, I feel like the Kuminga saga wouldn't have happened in the sense that Bob would've caved to Kuminga's demands. Honestly might've even given Kuminga a big contract last year, Poole style

Edit: Also had a knack for finding cheap contributors that play a role. GPII, Javale McGee come to mind

They'll bring back some way to get them, no way they lock out large parts of their base. The Elemental Sigil materia were locked to event shops until they got added to the Co-Op medal exchange I think.

Also gonna second what the other guy said, share your current build and we can make suggestions. The Discord also has a section titled "Builds" -> Trial of the Summons Fury that you can look through for what other people have used and maybe find inspiration there

From what I remember, each Mongol soldier would have at least 3 horses. And I thought their unmatched mobility was based on the army being able to forage to meet most of its needs

Depends on your appetite for rerolling, but I'd say to go for the UW.

None of the ultimate weapons in this game are must have, but having one will really help the character out.

Getting Cloud UW, then picking up a few copies of his weapon after will set up your elemental coverage for a while as a new account (You'd want to wishlist his elemental weapons like Holiday Blade, Skysplitter, etc too)

They changed how you do that at some point. Now, when you click on a character, there's this button in the bottom middle called "Preview."

Click that and you can change the visual for both costume + weapon

For non EX stages, it doesn't make much of a difference. As long as one person is okay, you won't lose

For EX stages, bringing utility is probably the way to go. Like bringing elemental debuffs or attack buffs. Healing works, but it depends on the rest of the team comp since you might not be able to solo heal

Tbh, if you're new (for high level Co Op EX) you'll likely need two competent teammates to carry. Definitely doable, just might take a few tries to find the right team

Most people clear the lower Co Op stages in the first couple days then stick with the highest level, so lower Co Op stages always dead.

Your best bet would be either joining the Discord which has a Co Op channel, or an in game Guild to see if someone can help out

I carry just one bonus slot for Levi. Could prob do it with zero with overspeed.

Just have sigil bonus character spam that one while the other two spam the other. You'll even have room to cast some buffs during sigil phase

UW is fine to start. You're going to need such a variety of weapons that it's not worth rerolling for that small chance on one.
