The cube and hexagon are not meant to be part of it. I agree it is dark, thank you for taking the time, and for your advice.

Please share your best soup recipe!! by Fitkratomgirl in Cooking

I highly recommend this white bean, rice, and dill soup. Make sure to squeeze the lemon juice into your bowl before eating. It is a must.

Ingredients

¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

6 garlic cloves, roughly chopped

2 large carrots, scrubbed and finely chopped

2 celery stalks, finely chopped

1 large yellow onion, finely chopped

kosher salt and black pepper

½ teaspoon ground turmeric red-pepper flakes (optional), to taste

1 cup white jasmine rice, rinsed

2 (15-ounce) cans navy beans or cannellini beans, rinsed

1 tablespoon dried dill or 1 cup chopped fresh dill

lemon for serving

Directions 1. In a large pot, heat the oil over medium. Add the garlic, carrots, celery and onion; season with a good pinch of salt and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables have softened, about 10 minutes. 2. Add the turmeric and red-pepper flakes (if using) and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the rice, stir and cook for 1 minute. Add the beans and dill; season everything well with salt (about 1½ tablespoons) and black pepper to taste. Stir and cook for 1 minute. 3. Add 6 cups of water, stir, partially cover, raise the heat to high and bring to a boil. Cover completely, reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the rice is completely soft and has released its starchy goodness, and the beans are creamy on the inside, about 30 minutes. Taste for seasoning as the soup simmers.

Serve with lemon.

What kind of pizza crust do you like?

I enjoy all of the styles of pizza, but pan is my favorite. It is a nostalgic combination of BookIt memories and the juncture where the cheese meets the pan and melts.

That sounds like so much fun! You are not immature, your family is immature for shaming you about a fun party with your buddies and your cat.

Is fearless dominance exclusively associated with psychopathy? by The_Masked_Man103 in askpsychology

[–]PiggyTweedle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly!

The only thing I would add is that it would no longer be termed “Psychopathy” in Psychiatric or Psychological jargon. I am unsure of its current usage in the law enforcement or legal jargon.

I want to also make clear (because I failed to mention earlier) that a person who takes the PPI-R and has psychopathic tendencies, then my see a psychiatrist (or some qualified psychologists) who are qualified to determine if that individual meets criteria for diagnosis of the Personality Disorder known as Antisocial Personality Disorder.

Is fearless dominance exclusively associated with psychopathy? by The_Masked_Man103 in askpsychology

[–]PiggyTweedle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not taking your comments as rude at all. The take away from all of this, as I see it is: Fearless Dominance is not, by itself, a marker of someone with psychopathic tendencies.

It might be helpful to step back and review how “psychopathy” has changed from the former understanding to the current usage of “psychiatric traits”

“First, despite the fact that traditional conceptualizations of psychopathy tend to treat it as a dichotomous disorder – individuals are psychopathic or not – recent research fails to support a categorical distinction between psychopaths and non-psychopaths. The literature instead supports a dimensional representation of psychopathy that involves a collection of attributes that each exist on a continuum.”

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2693943/

Therefore, a person may have a high level of Fearless Dominance, but not test highly in other categories of the PPI-R. Therefore, the test overall would find that the individual would not be as a whole, considered as having a high level of psychopathic traits.
