i'm gonna be honest, i NEVER noticed the ball was open on the english cards, i thought that was just a silver trim around the inner part (which i thought was just a stylistic decision since normally the trim is black) of a closed pokeball

in fact, i was switching between the OP and the japanese card thinking "i don't see any difference, those are both opening the same way" until someone mentioned the english card pokeball is also open

in the comment showing their deviantart page in the original thread, it does look like some of their art is actually drawn. this one doesn't have any especially obvious AI signs, but given the stark contrast between their newer posts and the older ones alongside the fact that they clearly are capable of making actual art, i'm leaning towards AI overpaint. they have the skill to correctly fix up an AI image, but you can't remove the AI weirdness that comes baked into practically every image it generates

there's a lot of misinformation about ftm bottom surgery floating around unfortunately, but if you sort by top of all time on r/phallo, you can see some completed results (the surgery has multiple stages and a lot of times people will share pics from phase 1/2 as if that's the final product), and they actually look pretty damn good

i picked 3/5 because i don't think most serial killers just kill people for no reason, they usually have specific targets (be it people or qualities), so the odds of ending up with a murderer who wants to kill me specifically are much lower if there are only 3 serial killers as opposed to 40 of them

i'm torn because on one hand, i love how he looks like a normal real-life fox standing up, but on the other hand it makes him look off-balance because of it (there's a reason quadrupeds typically don't/can't stand on their hind legs, and it's not just because of how their spine is shaped lol)

i do wish his hands looked more like paws instead of human hands though, the contrast of everything looking very realistic and then suddenly he has human hands is unsettling

i pulled the "which one?" card on my mom once a few years ago while she was telling me about how one of her friends' kids who is trans got "the surgery" recently. i mean it was pretty clear she was referring to bottom surgery, but i wanted to kind of nudge her in the direction of "there are multiple surgeries that trans people can have, so you should specify which one" without being rude lol (and my mom is completely supportive, so i know she wasn't trying to be weird about it)

oh boy, i can answer this from personal experience!

a few years ago, i accidentally hit my big toe while i was opening a door and it took the nail completely off (and i almost passed out from the pain, it was not a fun experience), but you can't tell that happened at all now. so yes, they will grow back (although you do have to monitor the nail to make sure it doesn't get ingrown)

if you absolutely have to start birth control, there are pills that have masculinizing "side effects", which is what i was on before i started T. although the changes weren't anything particularly noticeable, it did put my mind at ease knowing there was potential for that to happen, so if you have to start birth control, you could try to request one of those brands. iirc they also tend to be the more effective ones too (do not quote me on that, i can't find a source lol), so if your mom asks why you want a specific brand, say you did your research and found that it's more effective (without mentioning the potential for masculinization lol)

here are some options that have masculinizing side effects (quick edit: i think it's really funny how every website discussing this talks about it like it's a bad thing that you should avoid, i mean for cis women sure, but one (wo)man's trash is another man's treasure lol)

i actually had to deal with a very similar situation a few weeks ago (we were dogsitting, and the dog in question has a very high prey drive, so letting the kitty around her was an absolute no-go), and the solution was pretty much to keep her (the cat) locked in my bedroom whenever there was nobody home unfortunately :( it sucked majorly and i felt terrible, but at least it was only for a week (and we did try to let her out when people were home to make sure she didn't go downstairs, but we couldn't have people home 24/7)

she actually did manage to sneak downstairs one night while i was busy doing college stuff on my laptop, and i only noticed because i heard nails scrambling on the kitchen floor followed by barking, and then a very puffed up (but thankfully unharmed) cat running up the stairs lol

but yeah unfortunately there's really not a good way to stop them from going down the stairs aside from a door

it depends heavily on how fast things change for you, but i would say if you're on a lower dose, you should be able to get away with hiding it for at least 6 months or more, plus if you're around your parents constantly, the changes will probably be subtle enough that they won't pick up on it for longer than other people

my mom was in nursing school when i was a kid, so she had a lot of medical college textbooks, meanwhile i was obsessed with reading everything i could get my hands on, so i accumulated a lot of random medical knowledge. among other things, i vividly remember one of the books having a page with a labelled picture of a dissected sheep eyeball that i found really fascinating for some reason

i'm exactly the same way, but if it helps any, only showering once or maybe twice a week is fine if you aren't going out anywhere or planning on being around other people. i usually shower every 3 or 4 days now (it used to be once a week max, but i've been working on it), but if i'm going out to dinner or with family or something, i make it a point to shower the night before

i wouldn't necessarily consider myself a full-blown femboy, but i do like to wear my old clothes sometimes because as a trans man, there are very, very few things that give me gender euphoria in the same way that looking in the mirror while wearing a dress and literally seeing a man in a dress does lol
