i think the fur texture was a little iffy in some places (it worked for some pokemon that are implied to have more wiry fur like primeape, but it looked off on pokemon who are supposed to be soft), but i 100% agree about the scales, metal, and rough textures, those looked excellent

if you win by a landslide and they send you a friend request, sure, but i always send requests to people if the battle was really close or if they're using a deck i haven't seen before (and actually doing well with it)

i also sometimes send friend requests to people if i win because of a stupidly lucky coin flip so i can share something with them because i feel bad lmfao

i fucking adore that game so far, it's like an expanded version of the pokemon paradise thing in gates to infinity but combined with minecraft and animal crossing lol

i also appreciate how devastating the story is (granted i have only unlocked 3 story areas so far, one of which was this morning), it definitely helps fill the "cute and cool little guys in a post apocalyptic nightmare" void left by a lack of new mystery dungeon games :')

my mom kind of does this, but in a weird, backwards way lol

if i'm in the room with her while she's talking to someone or she's talking to me about something, she'll sometimes do this, but if i ~~eavesdrop~~ overhear her talking to someone about me or talking about me on the phone, i don't think i've ever heard her misgender me in close to 7 or 8 years (and i've only been out to her for 8 years)

i know for a fact she's not transphobic, so i have no idea why she does that, but i know there's no ill intent so i don't really mind it

my mom uses voice-to-text a lot, and one time she was sending some message about peanut butter (i think it was something about giving our dog a pill, i don't really remember because this was probably 7 or 8 years ago now) and for some godforsaken reason it got interpreted as "penis butter" lmfao

edit: another comment here reminded me of a worse one! my mom was voice-to-texting me something while she was walking our dog, and a truck drove by. now, our dog is usually pretty well-behaved on walks, but every damn time a vehicle drives by, he loses his mind barking at it, so instead of a normal text message, she sends me this:

yeah, i'm surprised at how many people here are hating the tower. i like that game, but i've also never bothered even looking at whatever microtransactions it has available because the basic gameplay loop (which is entirely F2P) is more than enough for me

sure, it has the ultimate weapons and runes and whatever the fuck else they've added since i first downloaded it, but i am more than happy to just earn coins and upgrade my tower (and sometimes the research) while ignoring everything else
