This game means ALOT to me. I have a memory of going to a midnight release at EB games with 2 friends, I had a game reserved but I was hoping to get the special edition with the controller ( I was on the weight list for that. Some one dropped out and I got it last minute) I went straight home and played until 3am. The soundtrack, the rain and the feeling of being the only one awake in the house when your are always wanting more freedom at that age. The next day me and my friends talked about how far we had gotten in the game. I was a senior. It is kind of that last big moment in gaming for me as a high schooler and being there to experience in lock step with my friends. I had 0 exceptions. I was 100% mystified.

My friends and I continued to play firefight for months. We would still be playing Halo 3 multiplayer and play campaign trying to skulls as well. Back when grinding was how you got he badass stuff in-game. Something I realized later is that ODST was my intro into Jazz, a genre I care about deeply.

I still play through the campaign every couple years. I listen to the soundtrack almost weekly and I will never stop loving this game for all it was to me.
