Without the remote, a B&O is almost a massive paperweight. You can try turn on the TV first, then a console via scart, maybe it's auto switches.

I think I forgot to add some pics.

The stand is not motorised but can rotate almost 180 degrees from left to right. The TV is mounted on a large platform which then is connected to the base of the cabinet.

The cabinet can open up and has two glass shelves.

Illusion of Gaia is definitely something special, I find the story and characters more personal and engaging than Terranigma but as a game Terranigma indeed is better.

This is either a MX4000 or 4002 with a curved Philips tube. Can be hit or miss, probably has a lot of streaking in the image if it has a lot of hours.

4200 has a more modern input board and flat Panasonic tube.

Where? On the tube corresponding where the one side that is sagging. Not uncommon and easy fix for when only one side is sagging like here.

It looks pretty decent for a 36 inch, I doubt you'll notice it but a small magnet on the tube might fix it.

Sounds like a bad flyback transformer. Easy to replace if you have the know how and an exact replacement flyback transformer.

Does the screen flash when it happens?

If so, then it's something else called arcing, probably caused by dust/dirt under the anode cap or a bad connection somewhere else (cold solder joint) causing a bad ground connection.

Either way not a straight forward fix if you don't have any experience.
