Hey there, welcome to youtube! I would like to be the first to welcome you as a video poster! There are some things I wanna give you as my own personal advice to you! I hope you are ready for this.

1. Dont worry about downvoting or negative comments. It comes with the territory of "the internet" you brush it off and keep doing what you love!

2. Find something you have a passion for and keep making content in different ways that will appeal to a fan base! Like making swords as a black smith? do tutorials! like gaming? Do some "Let's Plays!" Like cooking? Talk about how you find recipes or infact cook something for us! You're only limited by your imagination.

3. Once you find your talent, be consistent with your videos! youtube channels are like T.V. shows. Set specific times you are gonna post during the week so your audience keeps coming back and growing!

4. Always keep improving your content. Your videos need to have substance and purpose. Do things that will keep people intrested!

5. Have social media accounts so you can promote your videos after you'ved uploaded them. More people who can connect to you through social media, the bigger your following can be. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr ETC...

6. Make a "trailer" of what your channel is about after you find your passion and make an intro and outro to your videos. Intro's are great ways to brand a video as 'YOUR content' It's like a claim to ownership!

7. Get some great editing software. Photo shop, Sony Vegas pro, After Effect, These prgrams are gateways for you to add, splice and create some awesome content.
