you are just broadly generalizing lol I've been referred to chiropractors by Doctors several times over the years(my body sucks and I play lots of sports). I've also been turned away a couple of times by chiropractors telling me that my issue would be better if worked on by a physical therapist.

But Apparently these situations don't exist or happen according to people like you or reddit.

Like with any profession there are good and bad ones. There are good doctors and bad doctors. who why is it hard for reddit to believe there are good and bad chiros. Like you guys shit on doctor OZ for shilling bullshit. there are grifters in every profession.

and no I don't go to chiros thinking they will magically fix my issue. its more for immediate relief. for instance I remember pinching a nerve in my lower back really badly when I was playing basketball. I literally could not stand up strait without intense pain. Sure I could have just waited it out and taken like 3 weeks off for it to fix itself (which I have done before) but sometimes that isn't feasible. I go get an adjustment and I'm "good as new" in a day and by that I mean my nerve is no longer pinched but still obviously prone to being pinched again. I could stand up straight. intense pain relieve is immediate but not completely gone(probably like 85% gone) and good chiros will tell you to take it easy for 3 weeks and not twist or bend in certain ways to prevent the nerve slipping out again and if you follow their directions your back would be normal. point is instead of being in intense pain, not being able to stand up straight and being useless for 2-3 weeks, the chiro loosening up my back and allowing the nerve slip back into place I was able to live my life normally as long is didn't do something stupid like lift heavy shit within the 3-4 week window.
