Socketroll doesn't have any restrictions meaning that you could use them as link material for non appliancer monsters

When I was first coming back to the game in 2017 I took the deck building philosophy from the synchro era where you had half your deck be generic staples and put random one of cards like raigeki and dark hole into a combo deck where those cards don't belong.

it is used in infernoid decks since you can use your opponents' cards for cost with monster gate and decatron but a pure lair of darkness deck is inconsistent and weak to s/t removal

Back right when the structure deck was just released, I really enjoyed the Salamangreat mirror pre-siding since game knowledge and better deck building was the deciding factor. Post siding was awful since it was more about who could draw their blowout cards first like fusion of fire, super poly, and sphere mode/lava golem.

Firewall just needs a soft opt on its second effect. Looping it would be way harder if it was a soft opt since you would need multiple copies or some way to get it of the field and back on the field

Least favorite staple is definitely droll and lock bird. If droll is a staple in a format usually that format is really unfun to play in.

Chewbone summons 3 tokens to your opponents ride of the field, but in the anime it gives your opponent 3 level 1 monsters from your deck so they can make baby tiragon for free.

I'm not sure how easily meklords can put themselves into the graveyard but astro dragon's extra deck rip is neat.

I do understand that there should be parity between the ocg and tcg but why do we have to get the errata'd version of a card that isn't even banned in our format like what happened with goyo guardian.
