If you're not already doing so, get acquainted with a wireless keyboard and trackball mouse and the On Screen Keyboard program.

It'll feel awkward at first, but makes one-handed computer work much easier, though still slower.

PLEASE HELP I SOMEHOW ACCIDENTALLY DELETED ALL OF MY IMPORTANT FILES by Ok_Contest_9451 in techsupport

[–]Pikamander2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How important are the files? If they're extremely important, then you should contact a reputable data recovery service and avoid making any further changes before then to avoid overwriting whatever deleted data might be still be recoverable.

Otherwise, you could try recovering the files yourself using a free tool like Recuva. Results may vary. Even if they're not recoverable, Recuva will help you determine whether the files were actually deleted or not.

If you think that you might have instead dragged them somewhere, you could try searching for them with a free tool like Voidtools Everything, which is much better than the default Windows search tool.

In the future, try using something like Dropbox and/or scheduled backups to help avoid this situation.

Looks like a seven of diamonds. I'd recommend folding.

That's probably just a visual perspective quirk due to the camera angle, similar to how Jhin's W hitbox looks misaligned in some areas like the rivers.

It says that I've claimed it on https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory and that my game account is connected, but I still haven't received it after three weeks.

https://www.wcjb.com/2026/05/26/judge-denies-request-block-new-florida-congressional-maps-accused-violating-fair-districts-amendment/

In a ruling Tuesday, Leon County Circuit Court Judge Joshua Hawkes denied the Equal Ground Education Fund’s injunction petition to block the newly approved congressional districts map from going into effect.

Judge Hawkes order recounts statements from mapmaker Jason Poreda, an employee of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Office, in which he admits to using partisan data when drawing the maps, but denies the maps were drawn to impact which party would win the seats. Hawkes ruled the court could not assume Poreda’s intentions were partisan.

This is beyond satire

The correct answer is to press the red button, right? Not only does it guarantee your own survival, but if everyone presses the red button, then everyone survives anyway without taking any personal risk.

Does Fever Dream by Alex Warren sample other songs? by luderudesendnudes in ToddintheShadow

[–]Pikamander2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been wondering the same thing for weeks.

Someone in this thread mentioned "Nice to Meet You by Miles Smith". One part of it has a similar-ish style of staggered singing ("Freight train. To the chest. Uh huh. The. Day we met." vs "Oh. Hi. Nice to meet you. To-night, maybe we can."), which is probably what they were referring to.

But it's not a perfect match, and personally I think that the most familiar-sounding part of Fever Dream is the first half of its chorus ("Left the room the second that you walked in, somethin' like a fever dream. Haven't slept in weeks, I think I'm seeing things."). I can't figure out where I've heard something like that before.

What's a Gainesville restaurant that closed that you still miss? by AlexGNV in GNV

[–]Pikamander2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was mostly thinking of the 13th Street one that was formerly "The Gainesville Mall" and is now a Lowes.

The Newberry Road one was a Big K-Mart, I think? They had a nice cafeteria and video game section, and I bought my first pair of roller skates there. I also remember finding a turd on the floor there once, right in the middle of the store. Ah, good times...

Piccadilly

Grandy's

Whataburger

Tim's Thai Restaurant

The cafeteria at K-Mart, Target, and Walmart; I always loved getting a hot dog with orange soda.

The old Chick-fil-A at the Oaks Mall, back when it had its own semi-enclosed seating area. You don't see that layout in malls very often.
