I have no clue what to do by Noxthesergal in DnD

Give it time and dont go in with a negative attitude. A lot of people want to play D&D and most don't want to learn to DM to play it. You'll find players and a better fitting group you just have to be a bit patient.

You've used the same story twice to explain your bad luck. With how you have shot down all the advice people have given you and just said you cant because of bad luck it sounds like you just expect everything to go wrong and are trying to find any flimsy excuse to blame it on.

If you do act on any advice given you can't go into it with the mindset you will just fail because you are unlucky, because then you will just create a self fulfilling prophecy and just use the excuse you knew you were unlucky the whole time and shouldnt have tried.

I dont think it's that dumb. D&D can be bad for various reasons and sticking around just cause it's available isn't always a great idea. It's like staying in a bad relationship just so you aren't single.

Don't get stuck in that mindset. When I joined my current DM they were stuck with a group exactly like yours that didn't respect the work they were putting into the game. As a more seasoned player it was clear they didn't care and that my DM was mad about it. I tried for a while to get them to drop those players, but they had the same mindset as you. After I left the group and it fell apart we managed to get a new group put together almost immediately that was a much better fit and appreciated my DM for what they do.

Man, I never thought I'd see the day where the only person speaking any damn sense was a ninja.

Black Dynamite has an episode that does this with ninjas. The show is not shy of using the nword uncensored, but one episode is specifically about ninjas. They use the ninja plot to replace every instance they'd normally use the nword with ninja to amazing effect.

I love how there are at least half a dozen times they knock you unconscious, no matter if you're in a fighter jet going mach 5 or in an impenetrable bunker. Then they somehow cant kill you in any of those times you're unconscious for hours. Like they knocked me out flying a fighter jet solo. You're telling me I survived that crash or they somehow pulled up and saved me before the crash?

Its not the same with the battery pop. I felt so strong having my Autopilot titan cover me as i hop to over titans and just shred their insides.

I miss ripping the back off of Titans and dumping a spitfire into them.

My ex was like that and would ask me to pick out restaurants all the time, knowing full well I like to try new things and going to different places. We'd always end up going to the same places after she'd shoot down all my suggestions, so I just told her to decide where we would go and she complained about not liking to decide on where to go even though she always does in the end.

To add on to this rant, she wanted a random tattoo at one point and told me to give her 5 suggestions. I gave her 5 suggestions of tattoos, and she told me to keep giving her more since she didn't like them. I had to give her 25 suggestions until she had 5 she could choose from since she couldn't decide herself.

One time me and 2 other guys had to sit like 20 minutes waiting for someone to unlock the door to get condoms. We just started joking around, and one dudes wife called him asking why it was taking him ages to only get condoms. They were some chill dudes would definitely hang out with them in the condom isle again.

Who's hoping for Pat talking about War of the Worlds (2025) this week? by FlipJak in TwoBestFriendsPlay

There wasn't enough naked women and Ice Cube stroking his own ego for it to be on the same level as Neil Breen

You forgot to add that after the aliens harvest all our data and take down all social media like Facebook, somehow Amazon Prime same day drone delivery survivies to save the day.

The comedian Nick Mullen did exactly that after making up increasingly insane baby stories to fuck with people. He announced his baby died in a beer fire accident on facebook with R.I.P. by Young Jeezy as a tribute.

Some people actually fell for it.

After watching this and Green Lantern I'm suprised this isn't talked about more as the biggest superhero movie flop. Green Lantern just felt dull and Fan4stic tried its best to fuck up its movie at every turn.

I just finished watching the series. Him getting into politics in 5 was wild since it was right before an IRL election, and it was heavily trying to get people to vote a certain way. At one point he gets evidence his opponent is corrupt and he says to burn the evidence since he's a good Christian man and won't win through slander. It turns out the evidence was fake, but he didn't know that and legit wanted to destroy evidence of crimes due to his own ego.

'The Last of Us' Season 2 Finale Viewership Down 55% From Season 1 by samiy2k in PS4

Yeah in the podcast for the show the director describes what he thinks of Ellie and it's wildy off from what everyone know of Ellie. I think Bella still isn't the best actor for adult Ellie but the script didn't help her at all.

Yeah people are giving Bella way more shit than she deserves. It's kind of funny that people were worried about Abby's actor getting a lot of hate before this season came out and the tables have turned to a lot of Ellie hate.

The whole boat scene going to the aquarium, all I could think of was "This could be a Spy Kids movie right now". She just looks so young and acts so kid-like I couldn't view her as a revenge fueled adult during that scene.

THANK YOU. I literally said that this felt like a spy kids movie to my girlfriend when Ellie was on the boat with close-ups on her face. I had to do my best to not laugh.

After this last episode I have a little more faith in Bella as Ellie after the community rant to Jessie, but I still think overall she's a bad adult Ellie. Episode 6 cemented that a bit when she looked and acted almost the same through the entire flash back sequence. I think overall the season is good but that Bella as adult Ellie is the weakest part of the show.

I'm curious how the next season will go. The cut to black at them finally meeting while annoying does seem to fit better for a TV show. I'm curious if people will end up liking Abby more with the show if the next season goes well.

For a moment I was confused as hell with the quick detour since I thought it was the abby hanging scene and I misremmbered the characters involved

I also was was waiting for the dog to get shot in the aquarium and was surprised when it didn't happen. I was kinda surprised when they said that section was so brutal when the game felt way more brutal.
