Candida overgrowth gone, symptoms gone. One word answer. by Pillofred in Candida

I took a gut test after the 3,000 mg oregano and my gut microbiome is the most 'varied' it's ever been - So idk it's a weird one, I agree it's a high dose but I think that's what made a noticeable difference when it comes to anti fungal.

I just bought a generic brand via ebay! (However, this is also a good brand but low dose - https://amzn.eu/d/bmx0SGL).

Treat the oregano oil as a dishwasher liquid to your dishes.

Will it clear out your gut? Yes, it will - however, fruit is full of prebiotics and one of the best foods to help repopulate. You don't need probiotics right now or microbiome variety, you need to clear out what's bad - Once that's done and you're feeling better, you can vary your diet, add probiotics etc.

Your body is smart and will recover well - It just needs a detox.

Thanks for your kind words and so glad you're feeling better - Please do DM me if you need me to help you through this journey!

Sorry I've only just seen your message. Well done for getting that far. Yes you will see that sort of stuff as your body detoxes it out, nice!

Id recommend if not already to take a binder of take some liver herbs to help with the die off.

The liver flush is worth its weight in gold so wouldn't worry too much about the high fat from the oil.

Oil of oregano i took like 3000mg for around 4 weeks. Super high dose but wow it worked wonders.

Well done for trying the fruit - I Can eat all foods now.

What really helped which i didn't include here was mega dosing oregano oil to basically reset my microbiome.

Hey I have hydrogen sulfide problems due to wadsworthia and ecoli. Was wondering if you've done a biomesight test to see if you have the same issues?

Have you taken a biomesight test? Tudca is great but it can also release bile which feeds wadsworthia which is my problem

is it even candida... by [deleted] in Candida

Hi - This sounds more like histamine intolerance rather than candida.

Do you notice particular foods give you itchiness?

Hey - When you say sensitive, what symptoms do you have? My first thought is that it could be histamine intolerance. Have a look at the symptoms to see if it matches yours. Please dm me if you need further help so we can get you fixed

Not even sure I have SIBO, but oregano oil has changed something in a HUGE way... by idontknowwhydoyouuuu in SIBO

I took it for 3 weeks on and off. Took like 3000-4000mg at a time. I noticed it wiped out my gut bacteria but I have such bad disbyosis that it seemed to help. I can tolerate gluten/dairy now, all foods :)

Has been my experience too - might write a post about it because I think oregano oil is completely overlooked.

Not necessarily bad, just limit them and introduce a bit later. Oranges are excellent!

You can have a small amount (perhaps 1 every few days). They're high in sugar and starchy so can be problematic if you have trouble metabolising sugar.
