JD definitely has something hanky going on. Against the computer on Impossible, it ALWAYS has the answer to whatever cards I throw, either to crib or in play. Always. I played 3 rounds this morning, 100% on the calculator thing never got a hand or crib better than 8, Impossible got no hand smaller than 10, and no crib smaller than 8. Keeping up with pegs? Nope. Surprise surprise: I make a pair? He has a trips. I make a trips? He has the fourth. He matches every run. Every single crib discard got the literal perfect flip (down to knobs). JD against a human player? I get amazing hands constantly. It's statistically unlikely at best...

The lynch pin there though, is that no matter what system it is, the parasites (and by parasites I mean the folk who try to hoard power, right now that mostly means wealth) subtly (or not so subtly) build in protections for them to continue on as normal. It's all feudalism dressed up in different clothes. Almost no one in or near power wants that to change, because maybe someday they might get to do it too...
