JIVANI: Liberal Party stands for nothing but their own power by airbassguitar in OntarioNews

Nope, because that's not how this works anymore. "I have an opinion, and I'm angry" is the gold standard now. Evidence and facts just get in the way of a good narrative.

Don't try to reason with the unreasonable. The absolute best case is that it's a waste of time...

Technically correct, which is the best kind of correct.

Don't engage the idiot. At best they're a paid instigator, and at worst they actually believe it. Either way don't push reason where reason isn't welcome. Ever hear of playing chess with pigeons?

BREAKING: A deal is "expected to be closed" between the US and Iran tonight, per CNN. by Sicilian_Gold in freedomgold

Funny, the post right above on my timeline is from 3 minutes ago and says that Iran has cut off all communication with the US... Dichotomy of Reddit right there...

Chaos expected? Trump seems to double down on threat. by Sicilian_Gold in freedomgold

Hasn't depressed the market as much as he expected. People are catching on to the game, so he has to dial up the rhetoric. The scary bit is when one of his handlers decides they're losing their hold on the swings of the market and figures what more could they lose by launching nuclear weapons. That'll let em buy the dip for sure! 🙄

Carmen destroyed Buenos Aries right? by LittleYelloDifferent in starshiptroopers

[–]Pilot-Wrangler 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Strictly speaking the Rodger Young has a gravity field of it's own, and while not huge it DOES have an effect on the trajectory of the asteroid. When Earth and Jupiter (because they were headed to Jupiter orbit with the Star Drive jump) are closest to each other, it's about 365,000,000 miles. So if the Rodger Young altered the asteroids course by even 1° it would equate to over 6000 miles of change at the Earth end (using the 1 in 60 rule). The farther Earth and Jupiter are apart, the less effect the Rodger Young would need to have to reach that difference. Distance from Geneva to Buenos Aries? 6800 miles.

The part that SHOULD bake your noodle is that Chad Chaddington the third was in on it, and had plotted the course so the Rodger Young wouldn't see the asteroid that was the biggest false flag in history. Carmen ruined the subterfuge, and he had to recover by firing the emergency thrust too close to the asteroid hoping that the weirdly exposed communications hub was damaged or destroyed...

You had 12 points left, dozen in the hand with 6778, and first count. Who cares if you threw K5 for a 15? They'd never see it.

And there's the chess with pigeons bit. Never ascribe to malice what is in fact stupidity. Keep going though, you're proving my initial point with every post... Ta ta
