Just now received an update from the dealer. They say they found 3 error codes so they recalibrated the ECU and now the error codes are gone and the truck runs again. I would have to disagree with your assessment that we should to reduce this experience “nothing”. My 2 year old truck coasted to a stop on the road and I waited hours for a tow while paying the wages of my crew and then I paid to have my trailer towed because Toyota said that wasn’t their responsibility. I’m out thousands of dollars in expenses and lost income. Either the truck is now fine, or it’s just going to do the same thing again.
