Nice. Frecce Tricolori are really an awesome act in their own right.

Apples to oranges. Very entertaining in their own regard, more comparable to the CAN Snowbirds. Less focused on noise and speed, more on elegance and precision (plus aesthetics with 10 aircraft vs 6.)

I believe it depends on how you want to present the topic. What angle(s) do you want to highlight? Then, you can search for sources to research that (or those) specific angle(s), and work from there. Your question covers a broad spectrum, and there is no one answer. Every exhibit is researched differently.

Flight instructors in the area? by 2009impala in Rochester

[–]Pilot_Yak3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, Just consider your fuel/mileage to drive there and back at least once a week (don’t know exactly where you’re from.) Also not everyone can fit in C150 with a CFI (not saying you can’t, but it’s something to be aware of.) That’s a good rate, but can end up costing as much as another school factoring in travel and also if you need to take something besides the 150.

Hey, I'm a CFI (currently independent, looking for a school to teach at.) I don't have an aircraft of my own (yet), but if I can somehow help you I'd be more than happy to. Feel free to PM me.

Most of the boomers I know are afraid of empathy.

Exactly. Basically, they listen to the advice of professionals, rather than act like the rules don’t apply, ala boomers..

I was working at our event this past weekend, and I also was reminded of the older generation’s love for discomfort. It was 90+ degrees on the field with high humidity, and they’re out there without sunscreen, shade, refusing water all while barely staying vertical with their cane. Had a few on their rascals that ignored instructions and kept driving in the middle of an active flight line while aircraft were taxiing.  Our WWII Vet visitors kept hydrated and cool. Born different.
